Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Keinginan seseorang untuk menyalurkan aktivitas dan penampilan fisiknya melalui fotografi berhubungan dengan kecenderungan narsistik yang dimiliki oleh orang tersebut. Narsistik atau Narsis sering disebutkan pada mereka yang seringkali membanggakan dirinya sendiri atau mereka yang sering berfoto ria untuk dipamerkan kepada orang lain, salah satunya dengan diunggah ke dalam jejaring sosial miliknya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penggunaan media sosial Path sebagai media narsistik pada siswa Kelas 12 SMU Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung dan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan narsistik siswa Kelas 12 SMU Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung dalam penggunaan media sosial Path. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dijelaskan secara deskriptif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fenomena penggunaan media sosial Path sebagai media narsistik pada siswa Kelas 12 SMU Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung narsistik dapat dilihat dari menjamurnya yang menggunakan aplikasi sosial Path, ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah moment yang berjumlah lebih dari siswa lainnya yang memiliki akun Path. Kecendrungan narsistik siswa Kelas 12 SMU Al- Kautsar Bandar Lampung dalam media sosial Path dimana penggunaan Path mampu mengakomodir pengakuan dari teman di lingkungan pergaulannya yang sesama menjadi pengguna Path, dari jumlah yang sangat besar itu secara langsung mendorong para siswa untuk berlomba-lomba mengakses situs itu untuk sekedar membuat status atau bercerita tentang sesuatu dalam bentuk fitur profil, fitur belanja, fitur unggah foto dan video, fitur unggah lokasi, fitur musik, film, dan buku, fitur unggah status fitur tidur, fitur mengirim pesan kepada pengguna lain dan fitur komentar. Mereka juga bisa mengomentari moment pengguna lain untuk menunjukkan eksistensi mereka pada aplikasi sosial Path. This study adopted qualitative approaches and described a sort of descriptive set with the methods observation and interview. The phenomenon of the use of social media as a medium Path narsistik in Class 12 high school students of Al-Kauthar Bandar Lampung narcissistic can be seen from the proliferation of the use of social applications Path, this is indicated by the number of moments that amounted to more than the other students who have accounts Path. The tendency narcissistic students of class 12 SMU Al-Kauthar Bandar Lampung in social media Path where use Path is able to accommodate the recognition of friends in the social environment that fellow into the Path, from a very large number that directly encourages students to compete accessed the site to simply create status or tell you about something in the form of profile features, features shopping, the upload feature photos and video, the upload feature location, feature music, movies, and books, the upload feature status feature beds, feature send messages to other users and comment features.
