Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang motivasi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Taman Merdeka Metro di Kelurahan Metro Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro Tahun 2016, dengan titik kajiannya pada motivasi rekreasi, mengetahui monumen, penyaluran hobi, dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Taman Merdeka Metro. Metode penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah quota sampling sebanyak 50 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara terstruktur. Analisa data menggunakan tabel dan presentase sebagai dasar untuk interpretasi dan deskripsi dalam memberikan arti data tersebut guna laporan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) motivasi wisatawan untuk rekreasi sejumlah 20 wisatawan (40%), (2) motivasi wisatawan untuk mengetahui monumen sejumlah 16 wisatawan (32%), (3) motivasi wisatawan untuk penyaluran hobi sejumlah 12 wisatawan (24%), (4) motivasi wisatawan untuk pendidikan sejumlah 2 wisatawan (4%). Kata kunci: motivasi, wisatawan, taman Merdeka Metro abstract This study aims to assess the motivation of tourists visiting to Merdeka Metro park in the Village Metro District of Metro Center Metro City 2016, with a point of the study on motivation recreation, see the monuments, hobby, and education. This study used descriptive method. The population of this study was all the tourists who come to Merdeka Metro park. The method that was used to determine the sample was quota, and there were 50 respondents. The data collecting tecnique used were observation, documentation, and structured interviews. The technique that was implemented in analyze the data was percentage’s analysis. The result of this research show that: (1) tourist motivation for recreation as much as 20 tourist (40%), (2) tourist motivation for see the monuments as much as 16 tourist (32%), (3) tourist motivation for hobby as much as 12 tourist (24%), tourist motivation for education as much as 2 tourist (4%).
