ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan suplemen pembelajaran perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim. (1) pengaruh buku suplemen perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim, (2) pengaruh cara penyampaian suplemen perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman sisiwa tentang perubahan iklim, (3) pengaruh waktu penyampaian suplemen perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim serta (4) pengaruh buku, cara penyampaian dan waktu pembelajaran suplemen perubahan iklim secara bersama-sama sebagai penerapan suplemen pembelajaran perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 299 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling diperoleh 104 siswa sebagai responden. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan buku suplemen perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman sisiwa tentang perubahan iklim sebesar 55,2%, berarti semakin baik buku suplemen, maka siswa akan semakin memahami perubahan iklim (2) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan cara penyampaian suplemen perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim sebesar 25,1%, berarti semakin baik cara penyampaikan suplemen maka siswa akan semakin memahami perubahan iklim (3) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan waktu penyampaian suplemen perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim sebesar 33,2%, berarti semakin baik alokasi waktu pembelajaran maka siswa akan semakin paham perubahan iklim (4) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan penerapan suplemen pembelajaran perubahan iklim terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang perubahan iklim sebesar 66,2%, berarti semakin baik penerapan suplemen pembelajaran perubahan iklim maka akan membuat siswa semakin paham terhadap perubahan iklim. ABSTRACT This research aimed at describing the effects of implementing climate change learning material on the students’ understanding toward climate change. (1) The effects of climate change learning book on the students’ understanding about climate change, (2) the effects of teaching technique in conveying climate change learning material toward the students’ understanding about climate change, (3) the effects of time allocation of learning climate change learning material toward the students’ understanding about climate change, and (4) the effects of the book, teaching technique, and the effects of time allocation of learning climate change learning material simultaneously as the implementation of climate change learning material toward the students’ understanding about climate change. This research employed descriptive by administering observation and questionnaire as data collecting techniques. The population of this research was all students of 8th grade at SMPN 7 Bandar Lampung, academic year 2015-2016 consisting of 299 students. The sample was obtained through proportional random sampling technique and 104 students were chosen as respondents. In data analysis, simple and double linier regressions were employed. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effect of climate change learning book on the students’ understanding about climate change about 55.2%, which means the better the learning book, the better the students’ understanding about climate change, (2) there was a positive and significant effect of teaching technique in conveying climate change learning material toward the students’ understanding about climate change about 25.1%, which means the better the teaching technique, the better the students’ understanding about climate change, (3) there was a positive and significant effect of time allocation of learning climate change learning material toward the students’ understanding about climate change about 33.2%, which means the longer the time allocation of learning climate change learning material, the better the students’ understanding about climate change, (4) there was a positive and significant effect of implementing climate change learning material toward the students’ understanding about climate change about 66.2%, which means the better the teaching technique, the better the students’ understanding about climate change.
