Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Novel sebagai sebuah karya fiksi menawarkan dunia imajinatif, yang dibangun melalui berbagai unsur instrinsik dan ekstrinsiknya. Analisis wacana kritis terhadap novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui wacana etnosentrisme yang dibangun pengarang melalui novelnya serta untuk mengetahui kognisi sosial pengarang dan konteks sosial yang berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kritis sebagai upaya mencari kekurangan dalam teks. Model komunikasi yang digunakan adalah model teori Teun A Van Dijk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck menunjukkan wacana etnosentrisme melalui bentuk prasangka, stereotipe, diskriminasi, dan jarak sosial. Kognisi sosial menunjukkan bahwa pengarang pernah bersinggungan dengan budaya Bugis ketika berada di Makassar dan sebagai bentuk kritik terhadap sistem matrilineal Minangkabau. Konteks sosial menunjukkan konteks masyarakat yang terjadi pada saat tahun 1920-an sampai 1930-an. Terdapat konteks internal dan konteks eksternal. Kata kunci : Novel, Wacana Kritis, Etnosentrisme abstract Novel as a fiction offers imaginative world, which is built trough a variety of intrinsic and extrinsic. Critical discourse analysis of novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck aims to understand discourse ethnocentrism built author through his novels and to know cognition social author and the context social that develops. This research used critical studied as means to find the imperfection of text. Models of communication used is the model theory Teun A Van Dijk. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. This research produce the conclusion that novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck show discourse ethnocentrism through the form of prejudice , stereotype , discrimination , and the distance social. Social cognition shows that author ever come into contact with a culture Bugis when being in Makassar and as a form criticisms a system of matrilineal Minangkabau custom. For the social context the context of the community show occurring at the time of the 1920s to 1930s .There are the context of the context internal and external.
