Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Juni 2016 di lokasi pengembangan Kambing Peranakan Etawa (PE) di Desa Sungai Langka, Kecamatan Gedong Tataan, Kabupaten Pesawaran dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas kimia susu kambing PE. Metode survai digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel pengamatan dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Materi penelitian berupa susu kambing PE yang diperoleh dari 15 ekor kambing pada periode laktasi ke-1, ke-2, ke-3, dan ke-4. Peubah yang diamati meliputi kadar air, protein, lemak, bahan kering tanpa lemak, dan air. Kualitas kimia susu dianalisis di Laboratorium Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Hasil pengamatan dibandingkan dengan standar yang ditetapkan dalam Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) No 01-3141-1998 dan Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kisaran kadar lemak susu segar 2,52 – 6,20 % dan 76,61% sampel susu memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan dalam SNI (3,0 %) dan TAS (4,0 %). Kisaran kadar protein susu 3,86 – 6,70 % dan 100% sampel susu memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan dalam SNI (2,7 %) dan TAS (3,7 %). Kisaran kadar BKTL 9,54 – 11,92 % dan 100% sampel susu memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan dalam SNI (8,0 %) dan TAS (8,25 %). Kisaran kadar air 76,28 – 82,48 % dan 100% sampel susu memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan dalam SNI (lebih rendah dari 89,00 %) dan TAS (lebih rendah dari 87,00 %). Disimpulkan bahwa kualitas kimia susu kambing PE di lokasi penelitian sudah memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan dalam SNI No01-3141-1998 dan Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008. Kata kunci: Kambing Peranakan Etawa, Kadar Lemak, Kadar Protein, Kadar BKTL dan Kadar air SNI, TAS, Sungai Langka, Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran ABSTRACT This research was conducted from May up to June, 2016 at Ettawa grade goat (EGG) development area, Sungai Langka village, Gedong Tataan subdistrict, Pesawaran regency to study chemical quality of EGG milk. Survey method were used in this research. Fifteen tails of EGG at first, second, third, and fourth lactation period as sample research was decided by purposive sampling procedure. Variables observed were fat, protein, solid non fat, and water content. Chemical quality of milk were analysed at Technology of Agriculture Product Laboratory, Politeknik Negeri Lampung (Polinela), Bandarlampung. Chemical quality of the milk was compared Indonesia National Standard or Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) No 01-3141-1998 and Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008. Result of research indicated that fat content of 76.61 % samples (range of fat content 2.52 – 6.20 %) was qualified (standard of SNI was 3,7 %, TAS was 4.0 %). Protein content all samples (range 3.86 – 6.70 %) was qualified (standard of SNI was 2,7 %, TAS was 3.7 %). Solid non fat content all samples (range 9.54 – 11.92%) was qualified (standard of SNI was 8.0 %, TAS was 8.25). Water content all samples (range 76.28 – 82.48 %) was qualified (standard maximum of SNI was 89 %, standard maximum of TAS was 87 %).It could be concluded that chemical quality of EGG milk was qualified to standard of SNI No 01-3141-1998 and Thai Agricultural Standard (TAS) 606-2008.
