ABSTRAK Perang terhadap korupsi menyingkirkan kenyataan bahwa kejahatan umum telah menjadi momok secara langsung bagi masyarakat. Berbicara mengenai Lampung, tergambar suatu daerah dengan wajah yang menyeramkan. Lampung terkenal sebagai salah satu provinsi yang terkenal ke penjuru negeri sebagai daerah rawan kejahatan dengan kekerasan. Dalam kacamata konvensional, pencegahan kejahatan bisa dilakukan apabila kita mampu mengidentifikasi sasaran dan lokasi tindak kriminal. Teori kejahatan konvensional meyakini betul bahwa kejahatan bisa ditekan bila peluang untuk melakukan kriminalitas itu diperkecil. Untuk itu peran pencegahan selalu mengandalkan pada upaya bertemunya kesempatan dan niat untuk melakukan kejahatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Hal ini lah yang coba dilakukan oleh Polda Lampung lewat Tim Khusus Anti Bandit (Tekab 308). Anatara lain pertama langkah-langkah yang dilakukan tim khusus anti bandit (TEKAB 308) polda lampung dalam mengungkap kasus kejahatan konvensional, kedua kecepatan pengungkapan kasus kejahatan konvensional sebelum dan sesudah adanya tim khusus anti bandit (TEKAB 308) polda lampung, dan ketiga respon masyarakat setelah adanya tim khusus anti-bandit (TEKAB 308) Polda Lampung Kata kunci : Kejahatan Konvensional, Tekab 308, Polda Lampung ABSTRACT The fight against corruption rule out the fact that common crime has become a scourge directly to the community. Talking about Lampung, depicted a region with a worst thing. Lampung province is famous as one of the famous all over the country as violent crime-prone areas. In conventional viewpoint, crime prevention can be done if we are able to identify the target and the location of the crime. Theory of conventional crime really believe that crime can be reduced when the opportunity to do that crime is reduced. For the role of prevention has always relied on the efforts of the convergence of opportunity and intention to commit a crime. Based on the results, this is the one thing tried to do through the Police Lampung Special Teams Anti Bandit (Tekab 308). Among other things the first steps by a team of specialized anti-bandit (TEKAB 308) Polda Lampung in uncovering cases of conventional crime, second step the speed of the disclosure of conventional crime before and after establishment the special team of anti-bandit (TEKAB 308) the Police Lampung, and the third step is public response after establishment a special team of anti-bandit (TEKAB 308) the Police Lampung.
