ABSTRACT DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ WORKSHEET IN VEDA READING AND WRITING AT THE FIRST YEAR OF PRIMARY SCHOOL IN EAST LAMPUNG By Ketut Martini This study aims to 1) describe the condition and potential learners and schools of the products; 2) produce Hinduism students’s worksheet on reading and writing Veda for the first year students; 3) describe the product's specifications; 4) explain the effectiveness; 5) Explain efficiency and 6) explain the attractiveness of students’ worksheet on reading and writing Veda. This research using research and development method. Subjects of the research is students of the first year at SDN 1 Sukaraja, Tiga, SD Santi Adnyana and SDN 1 Purwokencono. The collecting data using observations, interviews, tests and questionnaires. Data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that: 1) there is a need for developing teaching materials used in reading and writing Veda; 2) students’ worksheet tested through design, media and content in good quality; 3) the resulting product is specifically designed for to reading and writing Veda; 4) the using of students’ worksheet considered effective in improving students' skills in reading and writing Veda with an average gain of 0.66; 5) students’ worksheet also considered efficient in learning outcomes achievement, learning effort, and the time using in learning with an average efficiency of 1.5; and 6) interesting from the aspect of the learning environment and student satisfaction with an average percentage of 82.6%. ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK MATERI BACA TULIS VEDA KELAS 1 SEKOLAH DASAR DI LAMPUNG TIMUR Oleh KETUT MARTINI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan kondisi dan potensi peserta didik dan sekolah terhadap produk yang dihasilkan; 2) menghasilkan produk berbentuk LKPD pelajaran Agama Hindu materi BTV untuk siswa kelas 1 SD; 3) mendeskripsikan spesifikasi produk; 4) menjelaskan efektifitas; 5) efisiensi dan 6) kemenarikan LKPD pada materi BTV. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 1 SDN 1 Sukaraja Tiga, SD Santi Adnyana dan SDN 1 Purwokencono. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi, wawancara, tes dan angket. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Kondisi peserta didik kelas 1 SD masih banyak yang belum mencapai KKM pada materi BTV dan bahan ajar yang ada belum dapat mengoptimalkan pengembangan keterampilan BTV siswa, sehingga terdapat potensi bahwa guru dan siswa membutuhkan LKPD yang dapat membantu membelajarkan materi BTV; 2) LKPD teruji melalui ahli desain, media dan konten berkualitas baik; 3) produk yang dihasilkan secara spesifik didesain untuk pembelajaran baca tulis Veda; 4) penggunaan LKPD dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan BTV siswa dengan nilai t = -25,673; 5) LKPD dinilai efisien dalam penggunaan waktu dengan rata-rata 1.5; serta 6) menarik dilihat dari aspek kesenangan siswa dengan rata-rata persentase 82.6 %. Kata kunci: Agama Hindu, baca tulis Veda, daya tarik, efektifitas, efisiensi, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik.
