Abstrak

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Self Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) merupakan kesiapan mahasiswa terhadap lingkungan mandiri yang menuntut mahasiswa untuk belajar. Motivasi sebagai salah satu faktor ekstrinsik mengambil peranan penting untuk terbentuknya SDLR mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar terhadap self directed learning readiness mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Terdapat sebanyak 240 responden yang mengisi dua buah kuesioner yaitu Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) untuk menilai motivasi belajar dan Self Directed Learning Readiness Scale (SDLRS) untuk menilai kesiapan belajar mandiri. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian: Hasil menunjukkan motivasi yang paling banyak dimiliki oleh responden yaitu motivasi tinggi (75,8%) dan derajat SDLR tinggi (82,5%). Berdasarkan analisis bivariat dengan uji chi square tidak didapatkan hubungan bermakna motivasi belajar terhadap self directed learning readiness dengan nilai (P=0, 411). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara motivasi belajar terhadap self directed learning readiness mahasiswa tingkat pertama Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung. Motivation is one important factor to build SDLR of the student.The aim of this research is to find out the relationship between learning motivation and self directed learning readiness student in Medical Faculty of Lampung University. Method: This research is using cross sectional approach. 240 respondents were asked to fill in two questionnaires, such as Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) to determine the learning motivation and Self Directed Learning Readiness Scale (SDLRS) to determine the readiness of independent study. Data were analysed using Chi-square. Results: The result show most of respondents have high motivation (75,8%) and high SDLR (82,5%). Based on bivariate analysis using statistical test chi square show there is no significant relationship between motivation and self directed learning readiness (P =0, 411). Conclusion: There is no signficant out the relationship between learning motivation and self directed learning readiness student in Medical Faculty of Lampung University.
