Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: 1) kondisi bahan ajar yang ada dan potensi bahan ajar yang akan dikembangkan, 2) proses pengembangan media cerita bergambar untuk anak autis, 3) efektivitas, dan 4) kemenarikan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 3 Poncowarno Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, angket dan tes. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) kondisi pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru, dan belum tersedianya media yang tepat untuk anak autis, sehingga anak autis kurang termotivasi untuk belajar menggunakan sumber belajar hanya buku paket dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa media cerita bergambar; 2) Proses merancang media cerita bergambar materi kenampakan permukaan bumi untuk anak autis kelas III SD, yaitu: a. perancangan pengembangan produk dilakukan berdasarkan model desain instruksional ASSURE, b. desain produk awal, c. uji ahli desain pembelajaran, media pembelajran dan materi pembelajaran, d. focus group discussion, e. uji lapangan, f. media cerita bergambar; 3) Produk media cerita bergambar efektif dengan hasil posttest lebih besar dari pre test, 86,66% > 60%; 4) Daya tarik media cerita bergambar dalam kategori menarik (89,58%). Kata Kunci: anak autis, cerita bergambar, media, IPA ABSTRACT The purpose of this study were to describe: 1) the condition and potencies of the existing teaching materials, 2) the process of developing the media picture series for autistic children, 3) effectiveness, and 3) attractiveness of the subject material. The approach used in this study was research and development. The collection of data used observation, unstructured interviews, questionnaires, and test. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The conclusions of this study were: 1) the learning conditions were still centered on the teacher, and the unavailability of appropriate media for autistic children, so that they less motivated to learn. They used only textbook as learning resources and there are potencies to be developed of teaching materials such as picture series media; 2) The process of designing media of picture series material appearance of the earth's surface for autistic children: a. the design of the product development is done based on the model of instructional design ASSURE, b. the initial product design, c. test expert instructional design, instructional media and learning materials, 4. focus group discussion, 5. field test, 6. media of picture series; 3) the product was effective as the posttest score was higer than that of the pretest (88,66%>60%); 4) the attractiveness of media of picture series in the category of attractive (89,58%) Keywords: autistic children, media, picture series, natural science
