Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif Sejarah siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Example dan Non- Example. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas dua kali pertemuan yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa di kelas X 2 SMA Al-Huda Jatiagung Lampung Selatan pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 33 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan aktivitas belajar dengan tujuh indikator keberhasilan yaitu: 1) Memperhatikan penjelasan guru 2) Mengajukan pertanyaan pada guru 3) Menunjukkan pertanyaan pada kelompok lain saat diskusi 4) Menjawab pertanyaan guru 5) Menjawab/menanggapi pertanyaan siswa lain saat diskusi 6) Memberikan kontribusi dalam penjelasan tugas kelompok 7) Kontribusi siswa pada saat guru memberikan kesimpulan diakhir pelajaran dan tes hasil belajar yang berupa soal esai sebanyak 5 soal. Data dari hasil observasi dan tes formatif pada setiap siklus menjadi dasar atau bahan perbaikan pada siklus berikutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa disetiap siklus setelah penggunaan model dalam pembelajaran Example dan Non-Example pada mata pelajaran Sejarah. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas belajar, Sejarah, Example dan Non-Example. ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to know students’ activities and learning product of cognitive aspect of history subject by using Example and Non-Example learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) .This research was done in 3 cycles, every cycle consists of 2 meetings that consist of three steps: Planning, Implementing, and reflecting in order to increase learning quality. The subject of this research was the students of the tenth grade of SMA Al Huda Jatiagung Lampung Selatan at the second semester in the academic year 2015/2016 that consisted of 33 students. Data collecting system used in this research was students’ observation sheet consisted of 7 indicators; 1) Paying attention to the teacher’s explanation, 2) asking questions to the teacher, 3) showing question to another group while discussing, 4) answering teacher’s question, 5) answering or responding question of his/her friend’s questions, 6) Giving contribution in explaining task in group, 7) giving contribution to the teacher while concluding the lesson in the last session and post test that consisted of 5 essays questions. The data from the observation and formative test in every cycle was become basic point to be increased in the next cycle. The result of this research shows that there was increasing of students’ activities and learning product of cognitive aspect in every cycle after implementing Example and Non- Example Learning Model of History subject.
