Abstrak

PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS MODEL PROBLEM BASEDLEARNINGUNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITISMATEMATIKA (Studi Pada Kelas X SMAN 1 Kibang Lampung Timur) Guru harusmampumenghubungkanmaterimatematikadenganpermasalahan yang terjadidalamkehidupansehari-haripesertadidik. Hal tersebut dikarenakanbeberapamateridalampelajaranmatematika SMA masihbersifatabstrak. Oleh karena itu, guru perlumenyajikanmateritersebut secarakontekstual. Salah satusolusi agar materipelajaranmatematikatersebutmenjadikontekstualadalahdengan mengembangkan LKPD yangmenggunakan model Problem Based Learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning pada materi Peluang untuk SMA kelas X untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis.Penelitianinidilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Kibang, Lampung TimurpadabulanMaret 2016, menggunakan model Research and Developmentpadakelaseksperimendankelaskontrol.LKPD dikembangkan dengan tahapan melakukan identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, mendesain LKPD, melakukan validasi, revisi desain, dan melakukan uji coba LKPD. Hasil analisis menggunakan software SPSSmenunjukkanbahwa hasil Sig (2-tailed) = 0,015 <α = 0,05 yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengujian lanjut menunjukkan mean kelas eksperimen sebesar 84,76 lebih tinggi daripada mean kelas kontrol sebesar 79,04.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaranmenggunakan LKPD berbasis model Problem Based Learning memberikankemampuanberpikirkritis yang lebihtinggidibandingkandenganpembelajaran yang tidakmenggunakan LKPD berbasis model Problem Based Learning padamateripokokpeluangkelas X SMA. Kata kunci: berpikirkritis, peluang, problembasedlearning. DEVELOPING STUDENT’S WORKSHEET BASED ON PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINKING MATHEMATICS (Study On SMAN 1 Kibang East Lampung) Teachers must be able to correlate mathematic materials at school with problems which happen in students’ daily life. Such a thing is caused by some mathematic lessons at Senior High School are abstract, and therefore, the teachers need to present them contextually. One of solutions in order for the mathematic lessons to become contextual is develop the student worksheet through the use of Problem Based Learning model. This research aimed to develop student worksheet based on Problem Based Learning in topic Probability for Senior High School students grade X. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kibang, East Lampung in March 2016, through Research and Development model in experimental and control classes. Student worksheet developed by stages to identify problem, collect data, designing student worksheet, validating student worksheet, revision of student workheet, and testing student worksheet. Data analysis of SPSS software shows the result of Sig (2-tailed) = 0,015 <α = 0,05. It implied there is difference between experimental class and control class. Further data analysis showed a mean of 84.76 experimental class is higher than the mean control class is 79.04. It implied that learning through student worksheet which was Problem Based Learning model improved critical thinking ability better than learning without through student worksheet was Problem Based Learning model in topic Probability for Senior High School grade X.
