Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penyebaran informasi melalui media televisi sudah seharusnya dapat dirasakan bagi seluruh kalangan masyarakat termasuk Siswa penyandang disabilitas. Sistem isyarat bahasa Indonesia (SIBI) yakni merupakan salah satu media yang membantu komunikasi sesama kaum tunarungu di dalam masyarakat yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia pada siaran berita Indonesia Malam di TVRI terhadap pemahaman informasi siswa SMPLB dan SMALB penyandang tunarungu di SLB-PKK Provinsi Lampung. Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey yaitu riset dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan datanya.Teori efek tak terbatas dalam penelitian ini berasumsi bahwa media massa menimbulkan efek yang terarah, segera dan langsung terhadap komunikan.Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 39 mahasiswa. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukan Thitung > Ttabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan perbandingan 3.190≥1.687 sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, itu artinya Ada pengaruh antara Penggunaan Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia pada Siaran Berita Indonesia Malam di TVRI terhadap Pemahaman Informasi Siswa Penyandang Tunarungu dengan tingkat korelasi kuat. Kata kunci : SIBI, Televisi, Disabilitas abstract The spread of information through television Media has should be felt for the entire community, including students with disabilities. Indonesian Language Signal System (ILSS) which is one of the medium that helps communication among the deaf in the wider society. This research aims to know the effect of the Indonesian language signal system in Indonesia Evening news Broadcasts on TVRI towards the understanding of information by the deaf student at SMPLB and SMALB in SLB-PKK Lampung Province. In this research, method that is used is survey research methods, which research using questionnaires as a data collection for the instrument. The theory of infinite effect in this study assumes that the mass media create effects that are directed immediately and directly to the communicant. Samples in this study are 39 students. The testing of hypothesis shows that T-test > T-table at significance level of 5% by comparison 3.190 ≥ 1.687 so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. It means that, there is a significant influence between Indonesian signal system usage in Indonesia Evening News broadcast on TVRI towards the understanding Information of the deaf students with a strong degree of correlation.
