Telah dilakukan penelitian eksplorasi Geofisika Logging di area eksplorasi PT Priamanaya Energy kabupaten Lahat Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi penyebaran seam batubara dan menganalisis nilai stripping ratio dari besarnya cadangan yang dihitung sebagai bahan informasi atau refrensi dalam eksploitasi tambang batubara dengan menggunakan metode yang sama.penelitian ini menggunakan data skunder,data log sumur dan perangkat lunak wellcad 4 dan rockworks 15, yang selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data log sumur, pemodelan penyebaran litologi dan perhitungan besarnya volume litologi area penelitian serta penentuan nilai stripping ratio (SR). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah litologi area penelitian yaitu sandstone,claystone dan batubara. Didapatkan juga pola grafik log pada seam, besar kecilnya nilai log gamma ray dan density pada seam batubara dimana gamma ray berkisar antara 0 – 10 cps dan long density berkisar antara 2500 – 8000 cps, beserta model 3D (Tiga Dimensi) dengan peta isopach dan besarnya volume overburden dan seam barubara daerah penelitian. Sebaran deposit lapisan batubara didapatkan sebesar 11,659,400 m3 dengan overburden sebesar 29,171,200 m3 dan stripping ratio didapatkan 1 : 2.5 berdasarkan data tersebut maka batubara didaerah tersebut ekonomis untuk dieksploitasi. Kata kunci: logging, batubara, seam, gamma ray, density stripping ratio IDENTIFICATION THE DISTRIBUTION AND COAL MINING STRIPPING RATIO ANALYSIS USING GEOPHYSICAL LOG DATA IN “DK” AREA IN LAHAT, SOUTH SUMATERA There had been done a geophysical exploration log research in the exploration area of PT Priamanaya Energy, Lahat, South Sumatera. This research aims to identify the distribution of coal seam and to analysis the stripping ratio from the coal reserves counted as reference in the coal mining exploration using the same methode. This research used secondary data which is well log data and softwares wellcad 4 and rockworks 15. The well log data was analyzed to obtain the lithology distribution model, calculate the lithology volume of the research area, and determined the stripping ratio (SR). The results represent the lithologies of the area namely sandstone, claystone, and coal. There are also achieved the log pattern in seam, gamma ray log respon, dan density of the coal seam. Gamma ray is about 0-10 cps and long density is about 2500-8000 cps. In addition, 3D modell is also obtained from isopach map and the overburden volume calculated form coal seam of the research area. Deposit distribution of coal bed is about 11,659,400 m3 with overburden 29,171,200 m3 and the stripping ratio achieved is 1:25. According to the result, the coal reserves in this area is economic to be explored. Keywords: logging, coal, seam, gamma ray, density stripping ratio
