Abstrak

ABSTRACT This research and development study aims to develop and describe the attractiveness, convenience, usefulness and effectiveness of worksheets based CTL in the cognitive learning and critical thinking skills. Based on the preliminary analysis shows the low percentage value above KKM class IV SD in Kecamatan Pekalongan is 45,19%. The students' critical thinking skills are still low indicated by the students being unaccustomed to differing opinions, discussing, and making the best decisions for themselves and others. In addition, teachers have not made LKS appropriate to the needs of students. The type of research is research and development that refers to Borg and Gall's theory with research procedure are including research and information gathering, planning, development of initial product format, initial test, product revision, field trial, product revision, field test, and final product revision . The population study is a fourth grade student in the district of Pekalongan are using curriculum in 2013, and the sample was 21 students. Data were collected through observation sheets, questionnaires and test questions with N-Gain analysis. Validation of LKS based on CTL by expert material obtained value 87,5. Validation of CTL-based LKS by media experts obtained a score of 87.96. The result of the research shows that CTL based LKS based on validation test of attractiveness, ease, and expediency have very interesting, easy, and very useful quality. The CTL-based LKS effectively improves student learning outcomes and critical thinking skills as indicated by an average N-Gain of 0.41 in the moderate category. Student's critical thinking skill after using LKS based on CTL is 9,5% student with very good category, 66,7% student with good category and 23,8 category is good enough. Key word: research and development study, worksheet, contextual teaching and learning, critical thinking skills ABSTRAK Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mendeskripsikan kemenarikan, kemudahan, kemanfaatan, serta keefektivan LKS berbasis CTL pada hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Berdasarkan analisis pendahuluan menunjukkan rendahnya persentase nilai di atas KKM kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Pekalongan yaitu 45,19%. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah yang ditunjukkan dengan siswa tidak terbiasa untuk berbeda pendapat, berdiskusi, dan mengambil keputusan yang terbaik bagi diri sendiri dan orang lain. Selain itu guru belum membuat LKS yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang merujuk pada teori Borg and Gall dengan prosedur penelitian meliputi penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan format produk awal, uji coba awal, revisi produk, uji coba lapangan, revisi produk, uji lapangan, dan revisi produk akhir. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Pekalongan yang menggunakan Kurikulum 2013, dan sampel adalah 21 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, angket, dan soal tes dengan analisis N-Gain. Validasi LKS berbasis CTL oleh ahli materi memperoleh nilai 87,5. Validasi LKS berbasis CTL oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai 87,96. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKS berbasis CTL berdasarkan uji validasi kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan memiliki kualitas sangat menarik, mudah, dan sangat bermanfaat. LKS berbasis CTL efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata N-Gain 0,41 pada kategori sedang. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan LKS berbasis CTL yaitu 9,5% siswa dengan kategori sangat baik, 66,7% siswa dengan kategori baik dan 23,8 kategori cukup baik.
