Abstrak

abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk lembar kerja peserta didik Kata kunci: komunikasi matematika, lembar kerja peserta didik, problem based learning. abstract This research aimed to develop teaching materials in form of students' worksheet based on problem based learning model for valid, practical, and effective way to improve students' understanding of mathematical communication skills. The population of this research was the whole 10 th grade students in Senior High School 1 Bandar Lampung of the academic year2016/2017 as many as 256 students. This research development was in replication to the research development done by Borg & Gall. The instruments used included: expert validation instrument, students' feed back, and mathematical communication skills understanding instrument. The data were analyzed descriptively according to the assessed aspects. Based on the findings of the tests for learning media expert and materials expert, the students' worksheets being developed have a good validity. The students' response towards the students' worksheet being developed was possitive since it is attractive and easy to use, it can be seen from the results of students’ that PBL based students’ worksheet is effective because more than 70% of the students have met the criteria of standard minimum score. Thus, the students' worksheet based on problem based learning model were valid, practical and effective to improve students' understanding of mathematical communication skills Keyword: Mathematical Communication, Students’ Worksheet, Problem Based Learning
