ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the differences of the share of regional own revenue and the growth of regional own revenue before and after the regional autonomy is being held at country/city in Indonesia. The population used in this study is country/city of Indonesia for the period of 1998-2000 and 2012-2014. Samples were obtained are as much 78 countries/cities in Indonesia. The hypothesis tested in this study is using Paired Sample T-test for testing the differentiation the share of regional own revenue and the growth of regional own revenue before and after the regional autonomy. The results found that the share of regional own revenue after the regional autonomy is significantly lower than before the regional autonomy. Meanwhile for the growth of regional own revenue after the regional autonomy is significantly higher than before the regional autonomy. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati apakah terdapat perbedaan kontribusi PAD terhadap belanja daerah serta pertumbuhan PAD sebelum dan sesudah diberlakukannya otonomi daerah pada kabupaten/kota di Indonesia. Populasi yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini merupakan Kabupaten/Kota yang terdapat di Indonesia untuk tahun 1998 – 2000 dan tahun 2012 – 2014.. Sampel yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 78 kabupaten/kota di Indonesia. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diuji meggunakan Paired Sample T-test untuk menguji perbedaan kontribusi PAD terhadap belanja daerah serta pertumbuhan PAD sebelum dan sesudah otonomi daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi PAD terhadap belanja daerah sesudah otonomi daerah secara signifikan lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan sebelum diberlakukannya otonomi daerah. Sedangkan untuk pertumbuhan PAD sesudah otonomi daerah secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan sebelum diberlakukannya otonomi daerah. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi PAD, Pertumbuhan PAD, dan Otonomi Daerah.
