Abstrak

Telah dilakukan analisis senyawa trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat dengan teknik voltammetri gelombang persegi dan voltammetri siklik. Senyawa trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat merupakan senyawa turunan dari trifeniltimah(IV) klorida yang telah disintesis dan diketahui memiliki aktivitas sebagai inhibitor korosi yang baik dibandingkan senyawa induknya. Analisis ini dilakukan untuk menyiapkan metode analisis kimia untuk senyawa trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat dengan metode voltammetri gombang persegi dan menghitung nilai konstanta laju raksi kimia maju (kf) dengan metode voltammetri siklik menggunakan software Polar 5.8.3. Untuk memvalidasi metode tersebut, maka dilakukan dengan cara membuat larutan standar trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat yang divariasikan konsentrasinya pada saat pengukuran 0,0 ; 0,64 × 10-3; 1,2 × 10-3; 1,92 × 10-3; 2,56 × 10-3; dan 3,2 × 10-3 M; dalam sistim pelarut air-DMSO dan konsentrasi elektrolit pendukung NaCl 0,02 M, kemudian diamati secara voltammetri gelombang persegi pada jendela potensial 700-1400 V dengan laju selusur potensial 100 mV/s. Untuk menghitung nilai kf, larutan standar trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat dengan konsentrasi 3,2 10-3 M diamati secara voltammetri siklik dengan variasi laju selusur potensial dan dianalisis menggunakan software Polar 5.8.3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode analisis dengan teknik voltammetri gelombang persegi memberikan persamaan regresi ip = 2,070 C + 9,180; (r) = 0,99499; Sensitivitas = 2,070 μA/mM; ( ) = 4,090 10-4 M; dan (R ) = 2,967 %. Hasil analisis menggunakan votammetri siklik menunjukkan bahwa nilai konstanta laju reaksi kimia maju (kf) trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat yang diperoleh bervariasi menaik terhadap nilai laju selusur potensialnya dengan nilai gradiennya adalah 5,59 1/V dan jenis mekanisme reaksinya mengikuti EqCi. Kata Kunci: trifeniltimah(IV) benzoat, voltammetri gelombang persegi, votammetri siklik, metode analisis kimia, konstanta laju reaksi kimia maju (kf). abstract Triphenyltin(IV) benzoate was analysed by using square wave voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry. Triphenyltin(IV) benzoate is a derivate of triphenyltin(IV) chloride that have been synthesized. It has been known that Triphenyltin(IV) benzoate is tested to have activity as a corrosion inhibitor. This analysis is conducted to prepare the methods of chemical analysis triphenyltin(IV) benzoate with square wave voltammetry also to determine a value of chemical reaction rate constant forward (kf) with cyclic voltammetry using software Polar 5.8.3. To validate the method, it is performed by making a standard solution of triphenyltin(IV) benzoate which varies in concentration at the measurement of 0.0; 0.64 × 10-3; 1.2 × 10-3; 1.92 × 10-3; 2.56 × 10-3; And 3.2 × 10-3 M; in a DMSO-solvent water system and 0.02 M NaCl as supporting electrolyte concentration, it has been tested by electrochemical method square wave voltammetry with the potential start from +700 mV to +1400 mV with scan rate 100 mV/s. While in order to determine a value of kf on concentration 3.2 10- 3M, it used cyclic voltammetry method with the same potential and scan rate 100 – 1000 mV/s, then it was analyzed by using software Polar 5.8.3. The results showed that the analysis method with square wave voltammetry technique gave regression equation, ip = 2.070 C + 9,180; (r) = 0.99499; Sensitivity = 2.070 μA/ mM; (LoD) = 4.090 × 10-4 M; and (RSD) = 2.967%, and it also showed that kf value of triphenyltin(IV) benzoate by using software Polar 5.8.3 has variation up to potential scan rate value with the gradient value that is 5.59 1/V and the type of mechanism reaction following EqCi mechanism.
