Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keadaan sosial ekonomi buruh pengangkut gula yang bekerja secara musiman di Pabrik Gula PTPN VII Unit Usaha Bunga Mayang Desa Negara Tulang Bawang Kecamatan Bunga Mayang Kabupaten Lampung Utara tahun 2017. Titik tekan kajian penelitian pada pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan, pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok minimum keluarga, kondisi tempat tinggal dan jenis pekerjaan buruh disaat sedang tidak musim giling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 84 buruh, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 68 buruh yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan kuesioner. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dengan observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan tabel frekuwensi persentase sebagai dasar untuk mendeskripsikan hasil laporan penelitian. Hasil yang didapat bahwa: (1) Tingkat pendidikan buruh pengangkut gula berada pada tingkat pendidikan dasar 91,07%. (2) Sebanyak 80,09% buruh pengangkut gula berpendapatan di atas UMR (Upah Minimum Regional). (3) Terdapat 85,30% kebutuhan pokok minimum keluarga buruh pengangkut gula dapat terpenuhi. (4) Sebanyak 51,47% buruh pengangkut gula memiliki tempat tinggal permanen. (5) 66,17% buruh pengangkut gula memiliki pekerjaan sebagai buruh harian disaat pabrik sedang tidak berproduksi. Kata kunci: Sosial Ekonomi, Buruh, dan Pekerja Musiman. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to review the social economy condition of sugar carrier that work for a season time at PTPN VII’s sugar company work unit Bunga Mayang in Negara Tulang Bawang Village Bunga Mayang District North Lampung Region year 2017. The point of this research are workers education, the grade of workers income, the minimum basic necessaries completation of workers family, the condition of workers housing, and the kind of workers profession when not in season time. This research using descriptive method. The research population is 84 workers, the numbers of sample is 68 workers taken with purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through with quesionary. Secondary data, with observation and documentation data. The data that have been collected was analyzed with frequency table as base to describing the result of this research. The result shown that: (1) Education grade of sugar carrier workers mostly at basic education as much as 91,07%. (2) 80,09% of the sugar carrier workers income surpass the UMR (Regional Minimum Wages). (3) 85,30% of sugar carrier workers are able to complete their minimum basic necessaries. (4) 51,49% of sugar carrier workers have their permanent house. (5) 66,17% workers the profession of sugar carrier workers highly as freelance daily workers as much as.
