Abstrak

ABSTRACT Chemical analysis of triphenyltin (IV) o-, m-, and p-hydroxybenzoate compound has been performed by square wave voltammetry. These compounds are new compounds that have been synthesized, characterized, and applied as anti- corrosion and anti-cancer inhibitors. The square wave voltammetry method is used because it has good sensitivity, and its chemical analysis process can be done more easily. This study aims to prepare a method for analyzing the new compounds triphenyltin(IV) o-, m-, and p-hydroxybenzoate by square wave voltammetry. To validate the method, a standard solution of triphenyltin(IV) o-, m-, and p-hydroxybenzoate, each of which was varied by concentration, ie 1.6 x 10-4 M; 3.2 x 10-4 M; 4.8 x 10-4 M; 6.4 x 10-4 M; and 8.0 x 10-4 M. Measurements against such standard solutions are observed by the square wave voltammetry method under conditions: potential windows +700 mV up to +1400 mV; scan rate potential : 100 mV / sec; working electrode (Au); auxiliary electrode (Pt); pseudo reference electrode (Ag); and 0.02 M NaCl as supporting electrolyte in H2O- DMSO (3: 1). The results showed that the validation of the method of analysis on the triphenyltimah(IV)-o-hydroxybenzoate compound had the value of the linear regression equation: ip = 7.42 C + 7.89; correlation coefficient (r) = 0,991; limit of detection (LoD) = 1.53 x 10-4 M; and sensitivity (S) = 7.42 μA / mM. The triphenyltin(IV)-m-hydroxybenzoate compound has the value of linear regression equation: ip = 8.39 C + 7.91; correlation coefficient (r) = 0.991; limit of detection (LoD) = 1.35 x 10-4 M; and sensitivity (S) = 8.39 μA/mM. While on the triphenyltin(IV)-p-hydroxybenzoate compound has the value of linear regression equation: ip = 6,1857 C + 7,945; correlation coefficient (r) = 0.995; limit of detection (LoD) = 1.84 x 10-4 M; and sensitivity (S) = 6,18 μA/mM. ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan validasi metode analisis kimia senyawa trifeniltimah(IV) o-, m-, dan p-hidroksibenzoat secara voltammetri gelombang persegi. Ketiga senyawa tersebut merupakan senyawa baru yang telah disintesis, dikarakterisasi, dan diaplikasi sebagai inhibitor antikorosi. Metode voltammetri gelombang persegi digunakan karena memiliki sensitivitas yang baik, serta proses analisis kimianya dapat dilakukan dengan mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyiapkan metode baru guna menganalisis senyawa trifeniltimah(IV) o-, m-, dan p-hidroksibenzoat secara voltammetri gelombang persegi. Untuk memvalidasi metode tersebut berdasarkan parameter linieritas, limit deteksi, dan sensitivitas, maka dilakukan pengukuran larutan standar trifeniltimah(IV) o-, m-, dan p- hidroksibenzoat yang divariasikan konsentrasinya, yaitu 1,6 x 10-4 M; 3,2 x 10-4 M; 4,8 x 10-4 M; 6,4 x 10-4 M; dan 8,0 x 10-4 M. Pengukuran terhadap larutan standar tersebut diamati dengan metode voltammetri gelombang persegi pada kondisi: jendela potensial +700 mV sampai dengan +1400 mV; laju selusur potensial 100 mV/detik; elektroda kerja emas (Au); elektroda bantu platina (Pt); elektroda acuan perak (Ag); dan elektrolit pendukung yang digunakan adalah larutan NaCl 0,02 M dalam H2O-DMSO (3:1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi metode analisis pada senyawa trifeniltimah(IV)-o-hidroksibenzoat memiliki nilai persamaan garis regresi linier : ip = 7,4164 C + 7,8908; koefisien korelasi (r) : 0,991 ; limit deteksi (LD) : 1,53 10-4 M; dan sensitivitas (S) = 7,416 µ A/mM. Sedangkan pada senyawa trifeniltimah(IV)-m-hidroksibenzoat memiliki nilai persamaan garis regresi linier : ip = 8,393 C + 7,914; koefisien korelasi (r) : 0,991 ; limit deteksi (LD) : 1,35 10-4 M; dan sensitivitas (S) = 8,393 µ A/mM. Pada senyawa trifeniltimah(IV)-p-hidroksibenzoat memiliki nilai persamaan garis regresi linier : ip = 6,1857 C + 7,945; koefisien korelasi (r) : 0,995; limit deteksi (LD) : 1,84 10-4 M; dan sensitivitas (S) = 6,186 µ A/mM.
