Abstrak

Pabrik Asam Propionat berbahan baku Propionaldehid dan Udara, direncanakan didirikan di Kawasan Industri Gresik, Jawa Timur. Pendiriaan pabrik berasarkan atas pertimbangan akan sarana transportasi yang memadai, tenaga kerja yang mudah didapatkan, kondisi lingkungan dan banyaknya Industri lain pengguna langsung Asam Propionat di daerah tersebut. Pabrik direncanakan memproduksi Asam Propionat sebanyak 25.000 ton/tahun, dengan waktu operasi 24 jam/hari, 333 hari/tahun. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah Bijih Mangan sebanyak 3.299,7360 kg/jam dan Udara sebanyak 4.977,9567 kg/jam. Penyediaan kebutuhan utilitas pabrik terdiri dari unit pengadaan udara proses, pengadaan listrik, pengadaan agen penukar panas dan udara instrument. Bentuk perusahaan adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) menggunakan struktur organisasi line dan staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 147 orang. Dari analisis ekonomi diperoleh: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 373.491.102.531,60 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 65.910.194.564,40 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 439.401.297.095,99 Break Even Point (BEP) = 46,4384 % Pay Out Time before taxes (POT)b = 1,7358 Tahun Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a = 2,0795 Tahun Return on Investment before taxes (ROI)b = 40,4682 % Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 32,3746 % Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 51,0412 % Mempertimbangkan paparan di atas, sudah selayaknya pendirian pabrik Asam Propionat ini dikaji lebih lanjut, karena merupakan pabrik yang menguntungkan dan mempunyai masa depan yang baik. abstract Propionic Acid plant with raw materials, Propionaldehyde and Air is planned to be built in Gresik, East Java. Establishment of this plant is based on some consideration due to the transportation, the labors availability, the environmental condition, and also existence of some industrial that use Propionic Acid as their raw material near this location. This plant is meant to produce 25,000 tons/year with 333 working days in a year. The raw materials used consist of 3.299,7360 kg/hour of Propionaldehyde and 4.977,9567 kg/hour of Air. The utility units consist of process air system, heat exchanger agent system, power generation system and instrumentation & control system. The bussines entity form is Limited Liability Company (Ltd) using line and staff organizational structure with 147 labors. From the economic analysis, it is obtained that: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 373.491.102.531,60 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 65.910.194.564,40 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 439.401.297.095,99 Break Even Point (BEP) = 46,4384 % Pay Out Time before taxes (POT)b = 1,7358 Tahun Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a = 2,0795 Tahun Return on Investment before taxes (ROI)b = 40,4682 % Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 32,3746 % Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 51,0412 % Considering the summary above, it is proper to study the establishment of Propionic Acud plant further, because the plant is profitable and has good prospects.
