Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Isu perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro dengan menggabungkan Kecamatan Metro Kibang, Kecamatan Pekalongan, Kecamatan Batanghari, Kecamatan Trimurjo telah menjadi pembicaraan sejak kepemimpinan Walikota Lukman Hakim hingga sekarang. Sehingga dipilihlah Metro Kibang sebagai daerah yang akan gabung ke Kota Metro. Masyarakat Metro Kibang yang merasakan kesulitan dalam akses pelayanan publik menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini. Kondisi topografis yang berbeda di kedua wilayah juga menjadi alasan Lampung Timur untuk tidak melepaskan wilayahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sikap masyarakat terhadap isu perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro dengan 3 komponen sikap; kognitif, afektif, konatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis statistik sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 98 responden dengan teknik random, dan melakukan wawancara kepada 3 informan dari Pemerintah Kota Metro. Hasil penelitian dari sikap kognitif yaitu 52,0% masyarakat mengetahui tentang isu perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro, 60,2% masyarakat setuju terkait isu perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro, dan 58,2% masyarakat mendukung terkait isu perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat mendukung tentang isu perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro dengan persentase mencapai 55,1%. Kata kunci : Isu Perluasan Wilayah Kota Metro, Sikap Masyarakat COMMUNITY ATTITUDE TOWARDS EXPANSION AREA OF METRO CITY (Study on Community of Metro Kibang Sub-district of East Lampung Regency) The issue of expansion of Metro City Region by combining Metro Kibang Subdistrict, Pekalongan Sub-District, Batanghari Sub-district, Trimurjo Sub-district has been the talk since Mayor Lukman Hakim's leadership until now. So chosen Metro Kibang as an area that will join to Metro City. Metro Kibang community who feel difficulty in access of public service become one of the background problems of this research. Different topographic conditions in both regions are also the reason for Lampung Timur not to release its territory. The purpose of this research is to know the attitude of society to the issue of the expansion of Metro City Region with 3 component of attitude; Cognitive, affective, conative. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with simple statistical analysis. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 98 respondents with random techniques, and conducted interviews with 3 informants from the Metro City Government. Result of research from cognitive attitude that is 52,0% of people know about expansion of Metro City area, 60,2% of people agree related to expansion of Metro City area, and 58,2% community support related to expansion of Metro City Area. Based on the results of the above study can be concluded that the community support about the issue of Metro City area expansion with a percentage of 55,1%.
