Reklamasi pantai merupakan salah satu contoh dari upaya manusia untuk menjawab keterbatasan lahan di perkotaan hal serupa yang terjadi saat ini di Pesisir Teluk Lampung. Kebijakan reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung yang cukup luas menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan dan banyak berdampak negatif bagi masyarakat sekitar maupun ekosistem laut dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka Walikota Bandar Lampung mengeluarkan kebijakan penghentian reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada permasalahan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan penghentian kebijakan reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberi gambaran dan menganalisis kebijakan penghentian reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penghentian reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung dikarenakan oleh beberapa faktor antara lain faktor penolakan dari masyarakat sekitar pantai yang merasa dirugikan yaitu masyarakat yang bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan dan merasakan dampak negatif dari kebijakan reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung, faktor rusaknya ekosistem laut dan lingkungan di sekitar pantai Pesisir Teluk Lampung seperti rusaknya terumbu karang dan perbukitan di sekitar pantai karena material yang digunakan untuk melakukan reklamasi dikeruk dari perbukitan yang ada di sekitar pantai Pesisir Teluk Lampung, faktor izin yang bermasalah dalam hal ini penerbitan izin menggunakan kop surat Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung namun ditandatangani oleh Walikota Bandar Lampung. Serta, faktor Walhi menolak keras dengan adanya reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung karena reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung dinilai berdampak luas bagi rusaknya ekosistem laut dan lingkungan Berdasarkan faktor-faktor tersebut maka Walikota Bandar Lampung mengeluarkan kebijakan penghentian reklamasi pantai di Pesisir Teluk Lampung. POLICATION ANALYSIS OF TERMINATION OF RECLAMATION OF BEACH IN COASTAL GULF LAMPUNG Coastal reclamation is one example of human efforts to address the limitations of urban land similar to what is happening today in the Coastal Gulf of Lampung. The coastal reclamation policy in the coastal area of Lampung Bay has caused quite a lot of problems and has many negative impacts for the surrounding community and the marine ecosystem and the environment. Based on these problems, the Mayor of Bandar Lampung issued a policy to stop coastal reclamation in Coastal Teluk Lampung. This research focuses on the problem of factors causing the dismissal of coastal reclamation policy in Coastal Gulf of Lampung. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the policy of coastal reclamation stop in Pesisir Teluk Lampung. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Methods of data collection conducted in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is the dismissal of coastal reclamation in Coastal of Lampung Bay due to several factors such as rejection factor from coastal communities who feel harmed by the people who are livelihood as fishermen and feel the negative impact of coastal reclamation policy in Coastal of Lampung Bay, the damaged factor of marine ecosystem and the environment around the coast of Lampung Bay Coast such as coral reef damage and hills around the coast because the material used to conduct reclamation dredged from the hills around the coast of Teluk Lampung Coastal, problem permit factor in this case issuance of permits using letterhead Provincial Government Lampung but signed by the Mayor of Bandar Lampung. As well, the factor of Walhi strongly rejects the existence of coastal reclamation in Coastal of Lampung Bay because of coastal reclamation at Coastal of Lampung Gulf is considered to have wide impact for the destruction of marine ecosystem and environment Based on these factors, Mayor of Bandar Lampung issued a policy of coastal reclamation stop in Coastal of Lampung Bay.
