Abstrak

ABSTRAK PRARANCANGAN PABRIK METIL KLORIDA DARI METANA DAN KLORIN BERKAPASITAS 30.000 TON/TAHUN (Tugas Khusus Perancangan Reaktor (RE-201)) Oleh : Achmad Ariyadi Metil klorida merupakan senyawa intermediet yang memiliki banyak kegunaan antara lain bahan baku herbisida, bahan untuk obat-obatan, dan sebagainya. Kebutuhan dalam negeri akan metil klorida meningkat seiring waktu sehingga dibutuhkan pabrik yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri dan sisanya dapat diekspor untuk meningkatkan devisa negara. Pabrik Metil Klorida ini direncanakan didirikan di Kawasan Industri Cilegon, Jalan Gunung Sugih No. 71, Provinsi Banten dengan kapasitas 30.000 ton/tahun. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah metana sebanyak 1.565,16 kg/jam dan klorin sebanyak 8.633,30 kg/jam. Pabrik beroperasi 24 jam/hari, 330 hari/tahun. Kebutuhan utilitas diantaranya adalah unit penyediaan air dan steam, unit penyediaan gas oil, unit refrigerant, unit penyediaan listrik, unit penyediaan bahan bakar, dan unit penyediaan udara tekan. Bentuk perusahaan adalah Perseroan Terbatas yang berstruktur organisasi line and staff dengan kebutuhan karyawan 132 orang. Dari analisisi ekonomi diperoleh : Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 313.232.960.945 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 55.276.404.873 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 368.509.365.818 Break Even Point (BEP) = 41,05 % Shut Down Point (SDP) = 23,76 % Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a = 2,45 tahun Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 26,08 % Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 35,30 % Hasil studi kelayakan teknik dan ekonomi menyatakan bahwa pendirian Pabrik Metil Klorida layak dikaji lebih lanjut. Kata Kunci : Metil Klorida, Metana, Klorin. ABSTRACT FEASIBILITY STUDY OF METHYL CHLORIDE PLANT FROM METHANE AND CHLORINE CAPACITY 30,000 TONS/YEAR (Designing Reactor (RE-201) By: Achmad Ariyadi Methyl chloride is an intermediate substance that has many uses such as herbicide raw materials, ingredients for drugs, and so forth. Domestic demand for methyl chloride increases that the plant is needed to meet domestic demand and can be reliable to increase the country's foreign exchange. The Methyl Chloride Plant is planned to be established in Cilegon Industrial Estate, Gunung Sugih Street No. 71, Banten Province with a capacity of 30,000 tons/ year. The raw material used is methane as much as 1,565.16 kg/ hour and chlorine as much as 8,633.30 kg/ hour. The supplies of plant’s utility are: water treatment, steam, gas oil, refrigerant, power generation, electricity, fuel, and pressed air supply system. The company entity form is Limited Liability Company (PT) with line and staff organization structure. Total labors are 132 people. Plant’s economic studies are : Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 313.232.960.945 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 55.276.404.873 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 368.509.365.818 Break Even Point (BEP) = 41,05 % Shut Down Point (SDP) = 23,76 % Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a = 2,45 years Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 26,08 % Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) = 35,30 % The result of technical and economic feasibility study is feasible and need further analysis, because the plant is profitable with good sustainability.
