Abstrak

ABSTRACT This research was a development research that aims to find out how to develop the math student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry and its effectiveness to ability of mathematical representation and self efficacy of students. This study started from preliminary study, preparation of the student’s worksheet, student’s worksheet validation, initial field trials, and field test. The research subject was grade X students in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro in academic year 2016/2017. The data of this research was obtained through mathematical representation test and self efficacy scale. The effectiveness test was conducted to determine the effect of guided inquiry based the student’s worksheet on the ability of mathematical representation and attitude analysis to know the student’s self efficacy. Preliminary study results indicate the need to develop the student’s worksheet. The preparation of the student’s worksheet is done by preparing the draft of the student’s worksheet and all its components. The mathematics student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry for arithmetic and geometry for grade X SMK consists of the beginning, core, and end. Validation results indicate that the student’s worksheet has met the content, media and language eligibility standards in very good category. The result of field test in this research is the student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry to improve the ability of mathematical representation and student self efficacy. Learning use the student’s worksheet based on guided inquiry more effectively in improving the ability of mathematical representation and self efficacy compared with conventional learning. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan LKPD matematika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing serta efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis dan self efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini diawali dari studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes representasi matematis dan skala self efficacy. Uji efektivitas dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis dan analisis sikap dilakukan untuk mengetahui self efficacy siswa. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD. Penyusunan LKPD dilakukan dengan menyusun draft LKPD dan semua komponennya. LKPD matematika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk materi barisan dan deret aritmatika dan geometri kelas X SMK terdiri dari bagian awal, inti, dan akhir. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, media, dan bahasa dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji lapangan dalam penelitian ini berupa LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis dan self efficacy siswa. Pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis dan self efficacy dibanding dengan pembelajaran konvensional.
