Abstrak

ABSTRACT DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING MATERIALS SOCIAL STUDIES USE SHARED MODEL TO INCREASE INDEPENDENCE LEARNING STUDENT of CLASS VIII By: AZIZ This study aims to develop teaching materials IPS model Shared class VIII SMP with the theme "Environment and Community Economic Activities" is feasible and interesting, and foster self-reliance in students in the process of learning activities. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D) Borg and Gall. Module development design and procedures follow the development steps of Hilda Taba. Technique of data collection is done by using interview technique, observation, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive data analysis which is expressed in five scale scores on the predetermined scale scoring category. The results of the module feasibility test by the material expert received an assessment of the "good" category, the assessment of media experts obtained the category of "very good", the assessment of the teacher's assessment and the students obtained the "good" category. Based on feasibility tests by experts, teachers and students indicates that the class IPS model of shared VIII module is very systematic, consistent, interesting, highly appropriate, and very appropriate, for use in classroom learning activities. based on the results of trials in the class showed that the product developed can foster student self-reliance. Keywords: Research and Development, IPS Module, Learning Independence ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR IPS MODEL SHARED UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII Oleh: AZIZ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPS model Shared kelas VIII SMP dengan tema “Lingkungan dan Kegiatan Ekonomi Masyarakat”yang layak dan menarik, serta menumbuhkan kemandirian pada diri siswa dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Desain dan prosedur pengembangan modul mengikuti langkah-langkah pengembangan Hilda Taba. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif yang dinyatakan dalam skor skala lima terhadap kategori skala penilaian yang telah ditentukan. Hasil uji kelayakan modul oleh ahli materi memperoleh penilaian dengan kategori “baik”, penilaian ahli media memperoleh kategori “sangat baik”, penilaian penilaian guru dan siswa memperoleh kategori “baik”. Berdasarkan uji kelayakan oleh ahli, guru, dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa modul IPS model shared kelas VIII sangat sistematis, konsisten, menarik, sangat sesuai, dan sangat tepat, untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba di dalam kelas menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan dapat menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar siswa.
