Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Perkawinan adat Lampung Pepadun adalah salah satu bentuk upacara adat di daerah Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimana bentuk jaringan komunikasi yang ada pada proses perkawinan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Untuk menjawab masalah diatas, peneliti merumuskan fokus penelitian yaitu: jaringan komunikasi pada Perkawinan adat Lampung Pepadun. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini Kelompok Etnik Lampung Pepadun di Desa Banjarmasin, Kabupaten Way Kanan. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Snowball Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Jaringan Peter R Monge dan Teori Struktural Fungsional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jaringan komunikasi yang terjadi di Perkawinan adat Lampung Pepadun di Desa Banjarmasin Kabupaten Way Kanan yaitu membentuk struktur jaringan rasi bintang. Kata kunci: Jaringan Komunikasi, Pepadun, Pernikahan Adat. ABSTRACT Ethnic Marriage of Lampung Pepadun is one of the many form of traditional ceremony that intimately connected with the communication network. This makes researchers interested in conducting research with the aim to know and explain the form of network communication in the marriage process. Research methods used in this research is qualitative. To address the above problems, the researcher formulates research focus is : communication network on the Ethnic Marriage of the Lampung Pepadun. The subject of the research in this study is the Ethnic Marriage of Lampung Pepadun in Village of Banjarmasin, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung Province. The informant is selected by using the Snowball technique of Sampling. This research uses the theory of network, which supported by Peter R.Monge and the structural functional theory. The results showed that the network of communication that occur i.e. form a network structure of the constellation or multi-directional channel. Keywords: Communication network, Ethnic Marriage, Pepadun.
