Abstrak

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini belum berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan bermain peran dengan pengembangan kemampuan berbahasa pada anak usia dini kelompok B. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK AL-Hidayah Kecamatan Kalirejo Kabupaten Lampung Tengah dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 81 anak, sedangkan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 anak dengan menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi sedangkan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi spearman rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan sangat kuat antara bermain peran dengan pengembangan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini. Kata Kunci: anak usia dini, kemampuan berbahasa, bermain peran abstract The problem of this research was that the language ability development of early age children was not yet optimally developed. The objective of this research was to find out the correlation between role playing and language ability development of early childhood in group B. this was a quantitative correlational research. This research was conducted in Al-Hidayah kindergarten school in Kalirejo sub district of Middle Lampung district with a population of 81 children. 30 respondent samples were taken by using purposive sampling, a sampling technique by taking samples with certain considerations. Data were collected with observations and documentations and data were analyzed by using Spearman’s Rank correlation technique. The research result showed that there was a very strong correlation between role playing and language ability development of early childhood.
