The problem of this study is the low motivation of student learning on IPS subjects who have no encouragement and need in learning, achievement of desire and desire to succeed. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and IPS learning outcomes in fourth grade students SD Negeri 5 Merak Batin Kecamatan Natar Lampung Selatan Lesson 2016/2017. The sampling used is purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is learning learning (X) while the dependent variable is the learning result of IPS (Y). The data were collected using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques use the formula. With result of microsoft office excel 2007. Result of research with. Results of serial improvements to the questionnaire. The results showed 22.46% which means the variable X (learning motivation) contributed to the variable Y (learning outcome) of 22.46%. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and IPS learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Merak Batin Kecamatan Natar Lampung Lampung Selatan Lesson 2016/2017
