Abstract

Pengaruh variasi basisitas dan reduktor terhadap produk NPI (Nickel Pig iron) menggunakan bijih nikel laterit Indonesia. Variasi basisitas yang digunakan yaitu 0,85, 1 dan 1,4, sedangkan untuk varisi reduktor adalah kokas, batu bara dan arang batok. Sampel dianalisis menggunakan (X-Ray Fluoresensi) XRF, Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dan (Scanning Electron Microscopy) SEM. Hasil OES menunjukkan bahwa nilai Ni tertinggi diperoleh pada basisitas 1 sedangkan nilai Fe terbaik yang dihasilkan adalah pada reduktor kokas 5,6 kg. Hasil XRD menunjukkan bahwa puncak tertinggi yang dihasilkan pada basisitas 0,85 dan 1,4 didominani oleh Fe dan semakin tinggi nilai basisitas yang digunakan menghasilkan fasa FeNi terdiri dari dua puncak, sedangkan pada basisitas 0,85 fasa FeNi hanya terdiri dari satu puncak. Kata Kunci: NPI (Nickel Pig Iron), bijih nikel laterit, batu kapur. ABSTRACT The effect of reductor and basicity variety on NPI (Nickel Pig Iron) product using indonesian laterite nickel was carried out. The basicity variety contents are 0,85, i and 1,4 respectively with coke, coal and coconut shell chorcoal variety. The samples analysis use XRF, Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and (Scanning Electron Microscopy. The results of OES show that the highest content of Ni is on the level 1 basicity, whereas the Fe finest is 5,6 kg with coke reductor. The results of XRD show that the highest peak on the basicity are 0,85 and 1,4 which dominated by Fe and the basicity will be greater will afford the Fe, Ni phase which consist two peaks, regarding to the 0,85 basicity of the FeNi only one peak.
