Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik jalur arung jeram di Way Sekampung Provinsi Lampung pada tahun 2016. Dengan titik tekan kajian pada kemiringan sungai, debit air, lebar sungai dan aksesibilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Objek penelitian ini adalah jalur arung jeram di Way Sekampung dari titik start di Bendungan Batu Tegi hingga titik finish di Jembatan Pagelaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif untuk menjelaskan fenomena atau gejala-gejala yang bersifat fisik dalam pembuatan laporan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Jalur Arung Jeram Way Sekampung memiliki kemiringan sungai 0,59%. (2) Debit Way Sekampung dipengaruhi buka tutupnya pintu air bendungan batu tegi yakni 10 – 30 m3/detik. (3) Lebar sungai Jalur Arung Jeram Way Sekampung antara 7 m – 54 m lebar. (4) Jalur Arung Jeram Way Sekampung memiliki aksesibilitas (a) berdasarkan waktu, lokasi start pengarungan berada di wilayah KPH Batu Tegi menuju Kota Bandar Lampung membutuhkan waktu sekitar 3 jam. (b) Bersdasarkan jarak, jarak yang ditempuh dari pusat kota Bandar Lampung menuju lokasi start adalah 85,9 km. (c) Berdasarkan kondisi jalan sangat baik. (d) Berdasarkan angkutan umum sangat sulit karena tidak dilalui angkutan umum. Kata kunci: arung jeram, Way Sekampung, karakteristik ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the characteristics of rafting paths in Way Sekampung Lampung Province in 2016. The press point of study on the slope of the river, the volume flow of water, the width of the river and accessibility. This research uses survey method. The object of this research is the rafting path in Way Sekampung from the starting point at Batu Tegi Dam to the finish point at Pagelaran Bridge. Data collection was done by field observation technique and documentation. Analysis of data with descriptive analysis to explain phenomena or symptoms that are physical in making this research report. The results of this study show that: (1) Way Sekampung Rafting Path has a slope of 0.59% river. (2) Volume flow of water in Way Sekampung influenced open the lid of the water gate of Batu Tegi Dam that is 10 - 30 m3 / sec. (3) The width river of Way Sekampung Rafting Path is between 7 m - 54 m wide. (4) Way Sekampung Rafting Path has accessibility (a) based on time, the location of the start of the rafting is in KPH Batu Tegi area to Bandar Lampung City takes about 3 hours. (b) Based on distance, distance traveled from downtown Bandar Lampung to the starting location is 85.9 km. (c) On the basis of excellent road conditions.
