Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Many research usually encounter variables that can’t be measured directly and therefore needed some indicators so it can be measured. SEM is one of the method that can be used to solve those problems. PLS is the second generation of variance-based SEM, so the amount of sample used in this method is not much, that is about 30 to 100. Therefore, in this research PLS will be used to see the total effect of Latent variables using a few amount of sample. The conclusion gathered from this research is that, in structural equation model, the total effect is generated from the addition of direct effect and indirect effect even tough one of the effect is not significant. The total effect of two Latent variables is equal to the direct effect. The actual effect of a model is determined by the amount of effect produced and the smallest standard error produced by each Latent variable. Keywords: Total Effect, PLS, SEM ABSTRAK Dalam penelitian seringkali menghadapi variabel yang tidak bisa diukur secara langsung dan memerlukan beberapa indikator untuk pengukurannya. SEM merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. PLS merupakan generasi kedua SEM berbasis varian, maka jumlah sampel yang digunakan tidak perlu besar yaitu berkisar antara 30 sampai 100. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini akan digunakan PLS untuk melihat pengaruh total antara variabel laten dengan menggunakan sampel yang kecil. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh yaitu dalam model persamaan struktural pengaruh total dihasilkan dari penjumlahan pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung meskipun salah satu pengaruh tidak signifikan. Pengaruh total antar dua variabel laten sama dengan pengaruh langsungnya. Dalam menentukan pengaruh sebenarnya dalam sebuah model ditentukan oleh besarnya pengaruh yang dihasilkan dan standard error terkecil yang dihasilkan antar variabel laten.
