Abstrak

Dalam usaha pemanfaatan energi panasbumi, dilakukan kegiatan eksplorasi untuk mengetahui potensi cadangan reservoir dari suatu sistem panasbumi. Pada penelitian ini estimasi cadangan reservoir dilakukan berdasarkan data 3G (geologi, geokimia, geofisika) dan landaian suhu pada sistem panasbumi hidrotermal non-vulkanik lapangan panasbumi Silver Peak, Esmeralda County, Nevada, U.S.A. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi keberadaan reservoir, cap rock, dan batuan panas, menentukan karakteristik fluida, menentukan geometri dan suhu reservoir, dan mengestimasi besar potensi cadangan pada sistem panasbumi. Data penelitian berupa data sebaran mineral alterasi, data geokimia pada sampel fluida sumur, data hasil pengukuran gravitasi, distribusi anomali magnetik dan resistivitas batuan, serta landaian suhu di daerah penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dari penentuan distribusi anomali Bouguer dan pemodelan inversi 3 dimensi distribusi densitas batuan yang di slicing secara horizontal setiap elevasi 250 meter ke bawah dan vertikal sebanyak 10 lintasan dan diinterpretasi terpadu dengan data resistivitas serta landaian suhu untuk diketahui keberadaan komponen-komponen panasbumi dan geometri reservoir. Data sebaran mineral alterasi dianalisis untuk penentuan zona alterasi dan pendugaan suhu reservoir, data geokimia untuk penentuan tipe air dan estimasi detail suhu reservoir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reservoir terdistribusi di daerah Goat Island Graben bagian utara, sebelah timur dari patahan Goat Island, dan daerah Graben dangkal di bagian utara (selatan ‘The Crater’). Luasan area reservoir mencapai ± 9,46 km2 dengan ketebalan ± 0,60 km. Cap rocks terdistribusi di dekat permukaan dengan ketebalan ± 100 meter dan ± 500 meter pada bagian timur patahan Goat Island. Batuan sumber panas berada pada kawasan Mineral Ridge di elevasi ±500 meter mean sea level. Manifestasi hot spring berada pada sekitar lokasi sumur WGP-1 dan NHS. Suhu reservoir mencapai ≥ 200°C dengan rentang suhu berkisar 203°C – 220°C dimana reservoir suhu tinggi berada di sekitar lokasi sumur 18A-11 TGH dengan karakteristik tipe air klorida upflow. Potensi cadangan terduga pada Lapangan Panasbumi Silver Peak adalah sebesar 109 MWe sampai 130 MWe. Kata Kunci : Silver Peak, Hidrotermal Non-Vulkanik, 3G, Landaian Suhu, Estimasi Cadangan Terduga ABSTRACT In effort the utilization of geothermal energy, exploration activities are carried out to determine the reservoir reserve potential of a geothermal system. In this research, reservoir reserve estimates are based on 3G (geology, geochemistry, geophysics) and gradient temperature data in the non-volcanic hydrothermal system of the Silver Peak geothermal field, Esmeralda County, Nevada, U.S.A. The purpose of this research were to identify the presence of reservoirs, rock caps, and heat source, determine of fluid characteristics, determine geometry and temperature of reservoirs, and estimate the potential of reserves in geothermal systems. The data used were alteration mineral distribution data, geochemical data on well fluid samples, gravity measurement data, magnetic anomaly and resistivity distribution, and gradient temperature in the research area. The research was conducted from determination of the anomaly Bouguer and 3-dimensional inversion model of density distribution which were slicing horizontally every elevation of 250 meters down and vertically of 10 trajectories and interpreted in combination with resistivity data and gradient temperature for known components of geothermal system and geometry of reservoir. The alteration mineral distribution data were analyzed for alteration zone determination and reservoir temperature estimation, geochemical data used for water type determination and reservoir temperature detail estimation. The results showed that the reservoir was distributed in the northern Goat Island Graben area, east of the Goat Island fault, and the Graben shallow in the north (south of 'The Crater'). The area of the reservoir reaches ± 9.46 km2 with the thickness reaches ± 0.60 km. Cap rocks are distributed near the surface with the thickness reaches ± 100 meters and ± 500 meters on the eastern fault of Goat Island. The heat source are located in the Mineral Ridge area at the elevation of ± 500 meters mean sea level. The hot spring manifestation is in the vicinity of the WGP-1 and NHS wells. The reservoir temperature reaches ≥ 200°C with temperature range around 203°C - 220°C where the high temperature reservoir is located around the 18A-11 TGH well with the characteristic of the upflow chloride water type. Expected reserve potential on the Silver Peak Geothermal field reaches 109 MWe to 130 MWe. Keywords: Silver Peak, Non-Volcanic Hydrothermal, 3G, Gradient Temperature, Expected Reserve Estimated
