Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektivan modul berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi fluida statis yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode peniltian dan pengembangan Borg and Gall sampai tahap ke tujuh. Pengembangan modul ini melalui hasil studi pendahuluan di tiga SMA di Bandar Lampung. Kevalidan modul hasil pengembangan ini diukur dari hasil validasi ahli mengenai validitas isi dan konstruk modul. Kepraktisan modul diukur dari tanggapan guru dan siswa yang menggunakan modul dalam pembelajaran. Keevektifan modul diukur dari meningkatnya keterampilan argumentasi siswa (n-Gain). Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator terhadap modul, validitas isi modul memiliki kriteria tinggi dengan persentase skor rata-rata 80%, sedangkan validitas konstruk modul memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi dengan persentase skor rata-rata 82% dan dinyatakan valid. Berdasarkan uji coba terbatas, tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap aspek keterbacaan modul memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi dengan perolehan persentase skor rata-rata 82% dan 83%. Berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan modul memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi yang berarti terlaksana dengan sangat baik dengan perolehan persentase skor rata-rata 84%. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa memperoleh persentase skor rata-rata 83% yang berarti memiliki kriteria sangat tinggi atau aktivitas siswa sangat baik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan modul. Berdasarkan hasil uji kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan modul memperoleh persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 82% yang berarti modul sangat menarik, sangat mudah dan sangat bermanfaat. Siswa menunjukkan respon postif terhadap pembelajaran dengan modul hasil pengembangan. Berdasarkan beberapa kriteria tersebut maka modul dikatakan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Modul fluida statis berbasis inkuri terbimbing efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi siswa dengan kategori tinggi yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-gain = 0,75. Selain N-gain juga dapat dilihat dari Effect Size yang memperoleh nilai 0,99 dengan kriteria Large Effect yang berarti 99% peningkatan keterampilan argumentasi siswa dipengaruhi oleh modul hasil pengembangan Kata kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, Keterampilan Argumentasi, Modul. ABSTRACT This research was aimed to describe the validity, practicability, and effectivity of guided inquiry-based module in static fluid that was used to improve student’s argumentation skill. This research used research and development (R & D) of Borg and Gall until the seventh stage. The preliminary research was conducted in three senior high schools in Bandar Lampung. The validity of this development module was measured from the expert validation results on the content validity and module constructs. The practicability of the module was measured by the teachers’ and students’ related to the developed module after the learning process. The module's effectiveness was measured by analyzing the data of student argumentation skills enhancement (n-Gain). Based on the validator assessment the results of the module, the content validity of the module was in the high criteria with the average percentage of 80%, while the construct validity was in the high criteria with the average percentage of 82%. The results indicated that the module was valid to be used. Based on the limited product testing, the teacher and student responses to the legibility aspects of the module showed very high criteria with the average percentage of 82% and 83%. The implementation observation results of the learning process using the module showed very high criteria which means the module performed very well with the average percentage of 84%. The students’ activities observation results showed the average percentage of 83% which means students’ activities were in a very high criterion. Based on the results of the attractiveness, the easiness, and the usefulness of the module showed the average percentage of 82% which means the module was very attractive, easy, and useful. Students showed positive responses related to the learning. The developed module in static fluid was effective to improve student’s argumentation skill with high criteria which was showed by the N-gain result of 0.75. The effect size result showed the score of 0.99 which means that the module was very influential to the student’s argumentation skill with a large effect criteria.
