Pelaksanaan Program Rumah Pintar mulai dilaksanakan pada tahun 2007, yang bertujuan untuk mendukung Visi dan Misi Kota Metro sebagai Kota Pendidikan. Kantor Perpustakaan, Arsip dan Dokumentasi Kota Metro merupakan unit pelayanan teknis yang bertugas menyediakan, mengawasi dan memberikan control pada pelaksanaan program rumah pintar. Program rumah pintar sudah dilaksanakan kurang lebih 7 tahun, tetapi dinilai belum memberikan dorongan terhadap terwuudnya Visi dan Misi Kota Metro sebagai Kota Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah evaluasi program rumah pintar di Rumah Pintar Banjarsari dan Rumah Pintar Yosorejo dalam rangka mewujudkan Visi Kota Metro sebgai kota pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teori evaluasi proses yang dikemukakan oleh Wirawan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada beberapa informan terkait pelaksanaan Program Rumah Pintar di rumah pintar Banjarsari dan rumah pintar Yosorejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelaksanaan Program Rumah Pintar di Rumah Pintar Banjarsari dan Rumah Pintar Yosorejo belum terlaksana dengan baik. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada beberapa indikator penilaian, diantaranya ketidaktepatan sasaran yang menggunakan layanan rumah pintar. Masyarakat sebagai sasaran utama program ini, memiliki tingkat partisipasi yang rendah, sehingga pengguna layanan rumah pintar hanyalah siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini disebebkan karena masih ada masyarakat yang beum mengetahui adanya program rumah pintar dan ketidaktertarikan masyarakat terhadap program rumah pintar. Perpustakaan, Arsip dan Dokumentasi Metro City is a unit technical services had the task of providing , supervise and provide control on the implementation of the rumah pintar program. Rumah Pintar program already implemented approximately 7 years, but yet encouragement against the terwuudnya vision and mission of Metro City as a city of education. This research aims to know Rumah Pintar program assessment in Rumah Pintar Banjarsari and Rumah Pintar Yosorejo in order to realize the vision of Metro City as a city of education. This research uses descriptive-qualitative type, by using the theory of process evaluation expressed by Wirawan. Data collection techniques are used i.e. through interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were conducted with a number of informants linked the implementation of the Rumah Pintar at Rumah Pintar Banjarsari and Rumah Pintar Yosorejo. The results showed that the implementation of the Rumah Pintar Program in Rumah Pintar Banjarsari and Rumah Pintar Yosorejo has not been done properly. It is based on several indicators, including assessment the target service uses inaccuracy Rumah Pintar. The community as the main targets of the program, have low levels of participation, Rumah Pintar service so that the user is just another elementary school students. This is because there are still communities that haven't learned to program Rumah Pintar and the disinterest of the community towards Rumah Pintar program Key Word : Evaluation, Rumah Pintar Program, Rumah Pintar Banjarsari, Rumah Pintar Yosorejo.
