ilmu kedokteran tertentu. Seorang dokter harus menjalani pendidikan profesi dokter spesialis untuk menjadi dokter spesialis. Minat dokter muda untuk menjadi dokter spesialis dipengaruhi beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah motivasi dan pengaruh role model. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi dokter muda terhadap minat melanjutkan studi program pendidikan dokter spesialis. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 87 dokter muda yang sedang melaksanakan program profesi dokter di RSUD Abdoel Moeloek Bandar Lampung yang dipilih secara insidental. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara motivasi dengan minat (p=0,045), terdapat hubungan antara role model dan motivasi (p=0,011) dan terdapat hubungan antara role model dengan minat untuk melanjutkan studi program dokter spesialis (p < 0,001). Kesimpulan: Hal ini berarti adanya motivasi dan sosok role model dari seorang dokter muda di Rumah Sakit Abdoel Moeloek mempengaruhi minat dokter muda tersebut untuk mengambil studi program pendidikan dokter spesialis. Kata Kunci: Dokter muda, minat, motivasi, role model, studi program pendidikan dokter spesialis. ABSTRACT Background: Specialist doctor is a doctor who specializes in a particular field of medicine. A doctor must undergo professional education specialist doctors to become specialists. Interest of co-assistant doctors to become specialists affected by several factors such as motivation and influence of role models. The research objective was to determine the relationship between the motivation of co-assistant doctors with the interest of continuing studies education program specialist. Methods: This study was conducted by cross sectional method performed on 87 co-assistant doctors who are conducting medical profession programs in Abdoel Moeloek hospitals Bandar Lampung wich chosen incidentally. Results: The results of this study is there is a relationship between motivation and interest (p = 0.045), there is a relationship between role models and motivation (p = 0.011) and there is a relationship between a role model with an interest to continue studies program specialists (p <0.001). Conclusion: This means that the motivation and role model figure of a co-assistant doctor at the Abdoel Moeloek Hospital affect the interests of the young doctors to take up studies specialist education program.
