LEADING CATEGORY IN AGRIBUSINESS ECONOMIC SYSTEM AND ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF REGENCY / KOTA AREAS IN LAMPUNG PROVINCE ABSTRACT The determination of pre-eminent category through Location Question (LQ) analysis tools and the Growth Ratio Method (MRP) in Lampung Province aims to obtain information on superior categories in the provincial and district / municipality agribusiness system in Lampung Province. The results of the research using Location Quetient (LQ) analysis tools consist of 1) Category A (Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries), 2) Category C (Non Oil and Gas Processing Industry) and 3) Category H (Transportation and Warehousing) The Growth Ratio Method (MRP) produces excellent category information to potentially increase economic growth, the flagship category is 1) Category C (Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry), 2) Category H (Transportation and Warehousing, Category I (Provision of Accommodation and Drinking) , 4) Category M, N (Company Services). Overlay is a combination of two analytical tools namely LQ and MRP, the result of combining to produce superior category in Lampung Province consists of 1) Category C (Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry) and Category I (Transportation and Warehousing). The purpose of the use of Shift Share analysis tool to find out the situation of change and shifting of economic structure of regency / city in Lampung province, and from Klassen analysis tool by using economic growth indicator and Revenue per Capita of each region as the basis of calculation obtained information of regency / advanced and lagging district / city areas. The results of superior category analysis in the region of Lampung Province on Agribusiness Economy system obtained superior categories and potential to be developed are 1) Category C (Non-Oil and Gas Processing Industry) and Category I (Transportation and Warehousing) and Economic Development of Regency / City Region produce advanced area of Bandar Lampung, Lampung Tengah, South Lampung and Mesuji. Keywords: Featured Category, LQ, MRP, Overlay and Featured Areas ANALISIS KATEGORI UNGGULAN PADA SISTEM AGRIBISNIS DAN PERKEMBANGAN EKONOMI WILAYAH KABUPATEN/KOTA DI PROPINSI LAMPUNG ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan informasi tentang kategori unggulan dan daerah unggulan pada system agribisnis propinsi dan wilayah kabupaten/kota di Propinsi Lampung. Hasil dari penelitian menggunakan alat analisis Location Quetient (LQ) terdiri dari 1) Kategori A ( Pertanian, Kehutanan dan Perikanan) , 2) Kategori C (Industri Pengolahan Non Migas) dan 3) Kategori H (Transportasi dan Pergudangan). Alat analisis Metode Ratio Pertumbuhan (MRP) menghasilkan informasin kategori unggulan berpotensi untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, kategori unggulan tersebut adalah 1) Kategori C (Industri Pengolahan Non Migas), 2) Kategori H (Transportasi dan Pergudangan), 3) Kategori I (Penyediaan Akomodasi dan Makan Minum), 4) Katagori M,N (Jasa Perusahaan). Overlay adalah gabungan dua alat analisis yaitu LQ dan MRP , hasil penggabungan menghasilkan kategori unggulan di Propinsi Lampung terdiri dari 1) Kategori C (Industri Pengolahan Non Migas) dan Kategori I ( Transportasi dan Pergudangan). Analisis Shift Share untuk mengetahui situasi perubahan dan pergeseran struktur perekonomian kabupaten/kota di propvinsi Lampung, dan analisis Klassen, dengan menggunakan indikator pertumbuhan ekonomi dan Pendapatan per Kapita masing-masing wilayah sebagai dasar perhitungannya diperoleh informasi daerah Kabupaten/Kota Unggulan yaitu Bandar Lampung, Lampung Tengah, Lampung Selatan dan Mesuji. Hasil dari analisis kategori unggulan di wilayah Propinsi Lampung pada system Perkonomian Agribisnis diperoleh kategori unggulan dan potensial untuk dikembangkan adalah 1) Kategori C (Industri Pengolahan Non Migas) dan Kategori I (Transportasi dan Pergudangan) dan Perkembangan Ekonomi Wilayah Kabupaten /Kota daerah unggulan.
