ABSTRACT Photos contained in the online media which is a visualization of an event is news. The function of photos on the news as well as media on online media is to attract readers, tell the contents, give quality to the news, make the online media more interesting. The purpose of this study To determine the meaning of denotation, connotations and myths meaning in the online media journalism news photo www.antarafoto.com Issue November 22, 2016. This study uses qualitative analysis method with the object of 12 photos online media journalism story www.antarafoto.com. The theory used in this study using the semiotics theory of Roland Barthes by looking at the meaning of denotation and connotation meaning and know the meaning of myth contained in the photo. So from the results of the study explains that photos online media journalism story www.antarafoto.com Issue November 22, 2016 that is not all humans who have physical limitations can not perform. Of the 12 photos the story indicates that a disabled athlete is also able to achieve achievement and reach the dream in the event Peparnas Bandung competition. Keywords: Photos of Journalistic Stories, Online Media, Roland Barthes. ABSTRAK Foto-foto yang dimuat dalam media online yang merupakan visualisasi dari suatu kejadian adalah berita. Fungsi foto pada berita sebagaimana halnya media pada media online yaitu menarik perhatian pembaca, menceritakan isinya, memberi mutu pada berita, membuat media online lebih menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui makna denotasi, makna konotasi dan mitos pada foto cerita jurnalistik media online www.antarafoto.com Edisi 22 November 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif dengan objek 12 foto cerita jurnalistik media online www.antarafoto.com. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori semiotika dari Roland Barthes dengan melihat makna denotasi dan makna konotasi serta mengetahui makna mitos yang terkandung dalam foto. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa foto cerita jurnalistik media online www.antarafoto.com Edisi 22 November 2016 yaitu tidak semua manusia yang memiliki keterbatasan fisik tidak dapat berprestasi. Dari 12 foto cerita tersebut menandakan bahwa seorang atlet difabel juga mampu meraih prestasi dan menggapai mimpi di ajang perlombaan Peparnas Bandung.
