ABSTRAK PRARANCANGAN PABRIK ALPA TERPINEOL DARI TERPENTIN DAN AIR KAPASITAS 15.000 TON/TAHUN (Perancangan Menara Distilasi -301 (DC-301)) Oleh NOFRA HARDIKO SAHPUTRA Pabrik Alpa terpineol berbahan baku terpentin dan air , akan didirikan di Bandung, Jawa Barat. Pabrik ini berdiri dengan mempertimbangkan ketersediaan bahan baku, sarana transportasi yang memadai, tenaga kerja yang mudah didapatkan dan kondisi lingkungan. Pabrik direncanakan memproduksi Alpa terpineol sebanyak 15.000 ton/tahun, dengan waktu operasi 24 jam/hari, 330 hari/tahun. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah terpentin sebanyak 1914,01 kg/jam dan air sebanyak 213,26 kg/jam dan katalis asam kloroasetat unrecovery sebanyak 66,62 Kg/Jam. Penyediaan kebutuhan utilitas pabrik Alpa terpineol berupa pengadaan air, steam, refrigerant, pengadaan listrik, kebutuhan bahan bakar, dan pengadaan udara. Bentuk perusahaan adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) menggunakan struktur organisasi line dan staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 216 orang. Dari analisis ekonomi diperoleh: Dari analisis ekonomi diperoleh: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 229.838.000.000 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 40.599.000.000 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 270.389.000.000 Break Even Point (BEP) = 50 % Shut Down Point (SDP) = 33 % Pay Out Time before taxes (POT)b = 1,3 tahun Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a =1,6 tahun Return on Investment before taxes (ROI)b = 58,3 % Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 46,7 % Interest Rate of Return (IRR) = 52 % Mempertimbangkan paparan di atas, sudah selayaknya pendirian pabrik Alpha terpineol ini dikaji lebih lanjut, karena merupakan pabrik yang menguntungkan dan mempunyai masa depan yang baik. ABSTRACT PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF ALPA TERPINEOL PLANT FROM TERPENTIN AND WATER CAPACITY 15.000 TONS/YEAR (Design of Distillation Column -301 (DC-301)) by NOFRA HARDIKO SAHPUTRA Alpa terpineol’s factory made from raw turpentine and water , will be established in Bandung, West Java . The factory was established by considering the availability of raw materials, transportation facilities are adequate, readily available labor and environmental conditions. Alpa terpineol planned factory produces 15,000 tons/year , with operating time 24 hours/day , 330 days/year . The raw material used is turpentine as much as 1914.01 kg / hr and water as much as 213.26 kg/hr and chloroacetic acid catalyst unrecovery as much as 66.62 Kg/hr. Provision needs alpha terpineol plant utilities such as water supply, steam, refrigerant, electrical supply, fuel requirements, and procurement of air. The shape is a Limited Liability company ( PT ) using a line and staff organizational structure and employs 216 peoples. From the economic analysis is obtained : Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 229.83 billion Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 40.599 billion Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 270.38 billion Break Even Point (BEP) = 50 % Shut Down Point (SDP) = 33 % Pay Out Time before taxes (POT)b = 1,3 tahun Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a =1,6 tahun Return on Investment before taxes (ROI)b = 58,3 % Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 46,7 % Interest Rate of Return (IRR) = 52 % Taking into consideration the above explanation , it is proper plant establishment Alpha terpineol is studied further , because it is a plant that is profitable and has a good future.
