Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa di SD Negeri 1 Rajabasa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik untuk mencapai Higher Order Thinking Skill pada pembelajaran tematik peserta didik kelas IV. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan subjek penelitian semua peserta didik kelas IVA dan IVB, sebanyak 49 peserta didik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktifitas peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik berpengaruh terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skill pada pembelajaran tematik peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Rajabasa Kata kunci: Higher Order Thinking Skill, penerapan pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik, pembelajaran tematik. ABSTRACT The problem of this research is that the high thinking skill of students in SDN 1 Rajabasa is Still low. The aim of the research is to investigate the effect of scientific approach learning to achieve higher order thinking skill in thematic learning of IV grader. The research is an experimental research using experimental quasi. The research which the design used nonequivalent control group design. It uses purposive sampling with research subject is students of IVA class and IVB, as much 49 students. The collecting data method that was applied is worksheet and observation paper of students activity. The research uses simple linear regretion to analyse data. The results of research shows that the implementation of scientific approach learning influential on higher order thinking skill in thematic learning of IV grader in SDN 1 Rajabasa.
