Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan karakterisitik sifat telur ayam arab dengan telur ayam kampung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada November 2017 di Laboratorium Produksi dan Reproduksi Ternak, Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan telur ayam kampung dan telur ayam arab fase produksi pertama masing-masing sebanyak 50 butir. Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan uji-t independent (bobot telur, indeks telur, bobot kerabang, bobot putih telur, dan bobot kuning telur). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bobot telur dan bobot putih telur antara telur ayam kampung dan telur ayam arab berbeda nyata (P<0,05), rata-rata bobot telur ayam kampung 42,26 g dan rata-rata bobot telur ayam arab 40,04 g, rata-rata bobot putih telur ayam kampung 21,80 g dan rata-rata bobot putih telur telur ayam arab 18,81 g. Indeks telur, bobot kerabang, dan bobot kuning telur antara telur ayam kampung dan telur ayam arab tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05), rata-rata indeks telur ayam kampung 77,20 % dan rata-rata indeks ayam arab 76,18 %, rata-rata bobot kerabang telur ayam kampung 5,28 g dan rata-rata bobot kerabang telur ayam arab 5,38 g, rata-rata bobot kuning telur ayam kampung 14,84 g dan rata-rata bobot kuning telur ayam arab 15,62 g. Kata kunci : ayam arab, ayam kampung, dan karakteristik sifat fisik telur abstract This research is aimed to know the comparison of physical characteristics between the egg of Arabian chicken and Native chicken. This research was conducted on November 2017 at the Laboratory of Livestock Production and Reproduction, Animal Husbandry Department, Agriculture Faculty, Lampung University. This research used 50 Arabian chicken eggs and 50 Native chicken eggs on first phase of production. The data obtained were tested by using independent t-test (egg weight, egg index, shell weight, albumen weight, and yolk weight).The result showed that the egg weight and albumen weight of Native chicken egg is significantly different (P<0,05) to Arabian chicken egg, average weight of chicken eggs 42.26 g and the average weight of arab chicken eggs 40.04 g, the average weight of chicken eggs 21.80 g and the average weight of chicken eggs arab 18,81 g. Egg index, shell weight, and yolk weight is not significantly different (P>0,05, The egg index, shell weight, and egg yolk weight between chicken egg and arab chicken eggs were not significantly different (P> 0.05), the average of 77.20 % of chicken egg index and the average of arab chicken index was 76.18 %, the average of chicken egg chicken egg shell weight 5.28 g and the average weight of egg chick eggs arab 5.38 g, the average weight of chicken egg yolks 14.84 g and the average weight of chicken egg yolk arab 15.62 g.
