Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) yang salah oleh manusia dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan dan berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan terutama bagian hilir. Penggunaan lahan yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah konservasi tanah dan air di bagian hulu DAS akan mengakibatkan tingginya erosi. Erosi merupakan salah satu permasalahan di DAS Sekampung Hulu. Peningkatan laju erosi akan meningkatkan jumlah sedimen yang masuk ke sungai. Penelitian bertujuan (1) menduga besarnya potensi sedimen di Bendungan Batutegi dan (2) menduga erosi di DAS Sekampung Hulu dengan menggunakan metode Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai total potensi sedimen di Bendungan Batutegi sebesar 83.478,74 ton/tahun atau setara dengan penambahan ketebalan sedimen sebesar 5,04 mm/tahun dan nilai pendugaan erosi yang diperoleh dengan pendekatan SDR di DAS Sekampung Hulu rata-rata sebesar 140,31 ton/ha/tahun. Kata kunci: Bendungan Batutegi, DAS Sekampung Hulu, Erosi, Sedimentasi, Sediment Delivery Ratio. ABSTRACT Wrong management and utilization of the watershed could cause a damage and negative impacts to the environment, especially in the downstream. Inconsistency of land use with soil and water conservation principles in the upstream watershed would cause high erosion. Erosion was one of the problems in Sekampung Hulu Watershed. Increasing of erosion rate would increase the amount of sediment entering the river. This study aimed (1) estimating the potential of sediment in Batutegi Dam and (2) estimating erosion in Sekampung Upstream Watershed using Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) method. Based on the analysis result, the total potential value of sediment in Batutegi Dam were 83.478,74 ton/year equal to sediment thickness addition about 5.04 mm/year and erosion estimation value obtained using SDR approach in Sekampung Hulu Watershed average of 140,31 ton/ha/year.
