Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa modul pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan kontekstual yang efektif, efesien dan menarik, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi bangun datar segiempat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan R&D. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII pada SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung dan SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Data yang dianalisis berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif . Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) kondisi bahan ajar yang digunakan pada kedua sekolah belum memenuhi karateristik peserta didik sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangan bahan ajar yang berupa modul, (2) terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis yang terlihat pada rata-rata n-gain sebesar 0,75 termasuk dalam klasifikasi tinggi, (3) rata-rata efisiensi diperoleh nilai rasio 1,11>1 (tinggi), (4) Persentase daya tarik modul sebesar 90,5% (sangat menarik). Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t, n-gain dari kedua sekolah didapatkan nilai sign (2 tailed) kurang dari 0,05,yang berarti penggunaan modul pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. ABSTRACT This study aims to produce a product of learning module based on contextual approach that can improve the understanding of mathematical concepts on the quadrilateral chapter. This research was using research and development method. The population were all students of class VII at SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung and SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, questionnaire and test. The data are analysis in the form of quantitative and qualitative. The results of data analysis showed that (1) the condition of the teaching materials used in the two schools has not fulfilled the characteristics of the learners so that the potential for development of teaching materials in the form of modules, (2) there is an increase in the understanding of mathematical concepts seen in the average n-gain of 0.75 included in the high classification, (3) the average efficiency obtained by the ratio value of 1.11> 1 (high), (4) Percentage of module attractiveness of 90, 5% (very interesting). Based on the t-test calculation, the n-gain of the two schools obtained the value of sign (2 tailed) less than 0.05, which means the used of learning module based on contextual approach is an effective in improve the understanding of mathematical concepts of learners.
