Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab perubahan mata pencaharian masyarakat petani kopi menjadi petani sayuran di Desa Tiga Jaya Kecamatan Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat tahun 2016. Titik tekan kajiannya pada tingkat jumlah tanggungan keluarga, tingkat pendidikan, jumlah modal, jumlah pendapatan, luas lahan, produksi tanaman, dan pemasaran tanaman sayuran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa tabel persentase berdasarkan frekuensi sederhana. Jumlah populadsi yaitu 249 Kepala Keluarga, sampel sebanyak 94 KK. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyebab perubahan mata pencaharian masyarakat petani kopi menjadi petani sayuran adalah: (1) Luas lahan kepala keluarga petani sayuran digolongkan sempit, yaitu sebagian besar hanya antara 1–2 Ha, (2) Rendahnya hasil produksi kopi kepala keluarga petani yaitu dengan rata-rata berjumlah 1-1 Ton/1x panen, (3) Harga jual kopi rendah yaitu kisaran Rp 18.000- Rp 20.000/Kg, (4) Jangka waktu panen yang lama yaitu setahun sekali sedangkan sayuran bulan ( 1 x panen ), (5) pendapatan kepala keluarga petani sayuran lebih besar dibanding kopi yaitu rata-rata pendapatan kopi Rp. 3.000.000/bulan sedangkan pendapatan sayuran sebesar Rp. 20.000.000/ 3 bulan ( 1 x panen ) (6) Tingginya Jumlah tanggungan kepala keluarga yaitu rata-rata >4 sebanyak 42 (44,68 %). Kata Kunci : petani, kopi, sayuran. ABSTRACT The objective of this research wasto find the factors which causingthe coffee farmer communities proceed to vegetables farmers in Tiga Jaya Village, Sekincau District, West Lampung regency in 2016. The emphasis of this research were on the number of family dependents, education degree, amount of capital, amount of income, area coverage, amount of agricultural product also the marketing itself.The method used in this research was descriptive method.Data collecting technique used in this research wasan observation, structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this research was percentage table based on simple frequency. The population of this research was 249 Families, and the sample was 94 families. The results of this research revealedthe factors which causing the coffee farmer communities proceed to vegetables farmers were: (1) The area of vegetables farmers field wasnarrow, whichonly between 1-2 Ha, (2) The coffee was slightly produced, only 1-1 Ton / 1 harvesting period, (3) The price of coffee itself was cheap, around Rp 18.000- Rp 20.000 / Kg, (4) If compared by the harvesting period,the coffee has longer harvesting period than vegetables, while the coffee could produce once a year and the vegetables could produce once a month (5) The amount of vegetable farmer’s incoming washigher than the coffeefarmers, that the average of coffee farmer’s incoming wasRp. 3,000,000 / month, while the vegetable farmer’s incoming wasRp. 20.000.000 / 3 months (1 x harvesting) (6) The high number of household headings was > 4 as much as 42 (44.68%).
