ABSTRACT MAPPING THE LOCATION OF TRAFFIC JAM AT BANDAR LAMPUNG CITY USING THE SYSTEM INFORMATION OF GEOGRAPHYCAL 2018 By Reza Firdian Ruswanda The research is aimed (1) to analyze the location traffic jam that happens in Bandar Lampung, (2) to analyze the timming of traffic jam, (3) to analyze the volume of the vehicle that crossed the particular road based on the research length of time from the observer, (4) to analyze the traffic completeness of the traffic sign in Bandar Lampung. The method used is descriptive method. The subjects in this study is the provincial road and bandar lampung road. The data collection uses observation and documentation. The analysis technique uses spatial analysis with scoring and overlay technique. The result of the research show that (1) the strategic location of the traffic jam in Bandar Lampung city are Jl. Radin Intan, Jl. Ahmad Yani, Jl. RA. Kartini, Jl. Soekarno Hatta, Jl. ZA. Pagar Alam, Jl. Sultan Agung, Jl. Teuku Umar, and Jl. Pangeran Antasari, (2) the timing of the traffic jam are often happened in the morning and evening while the traffic was smooth in the afternoon, (3) the volume of vehicle was observed in different length of time on earch the road (4) the traffic sign that has been provided by the goverment is minimum and not yet maxiumly taken care. keywords: mapping, traffic jam, system information of geographycal ABSTRAK PEMETAAN TITIK KEMACETAN LALU LINTAS DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFI PADA TAHUN 2018 Oleh Reza Firdian Ruswanda Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis : (1) Mengetahui lokasi kemacetan lalu lintas yang terjadi di Kota Bandar Lampung, (2) Mengetahui waktu waktu terjadinya kemacetan lalu lintas, (3) Mengetahui volume kendaraan yang melintas di jalan selama waktu pengamatan, (4) Mengetahui kelengkapan rambu rambu lalu lintas yang ada di Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Jalan Provinsi dan Jalan Kota Bandar Lampung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis keruangan dengan teknik scoring dan overlay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Lokasi titik rawan kemacetan lalu lintas di Kota Bandar Lampung Jl. Radin Intan, Jl. Ahmad Yani, Jl. RA. Kartini, Jl. Soekarno Hatta, Jl. ZA. Pagar Alam, Jl. Sultan Agung, Jl. Teuku Umar, dan Jl. Pangeran Antasari, (2) Waktu terjadinya kemacetan di pagi dan sore hari sedangkan pada siang hari arus kendaraan berjalan tanpa hambatan, (3) Volume kendaraan yang melintas selama waktu pengamatan berbeda beda di setiap jalannya, (4) Rambu Rambu lalu lintas yang tersedia kurang lengkap dan kurang terawat.
