Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui system produksi dan tata letak, konsep penyeimbangan lini, efisiensi lini proses produksi packing house buah nanas segar di PT Great Giant Fruit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan analisis line of balance untuk mendapatkan efisiensi produksi. Analisis line of balance dilakukan pada setiap tahapan produksi. Hasil analisis line of balance menunjukkan bahwa waktu maksimal pelaksanaan masing-masing tahapan kerja adalah sebesar 3,6 detik dengan asumsi 2 jam, theoritical minimum jumlah tahapan kerja yang seharusnya di susun adalah sebanyak 5 tahapan dengan efisiensi 0,64 detik atau sebesar 64% dengan idle time 0,36 detik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan line of balance membuat waktu penyelesaian produksi lebih singkat dengan hasil produksi yang meningkat. This research was a descriptive research with line of balance analysis to get production efficiency. Line of balance analysis was conducted in each stage of production. The result of line of balance analysis showed that the maximum time cycle of each work phase was 3.6 seconds with the assumption of 2 hours of, the work stages that should be arrased in 5 stages with an efficiency of 0.64 seconds or equal to 64% and idele time 0.36 seconds. This result showed line of balance maked time of production became shorter and that the implementation of higher production quality.
