Abstrak
Dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas serta mengikuti kemajuan teknologi yang sedang berkembang yang berprinsip efisien dan efektif untuk pemotongan kentang spiral dengan hasil yang lebih baik, yang mana kentang tersebut digunakan sebagai bahan baku untuk membuat makanan ringan. Maka dibuatlah alat pemotong kentang spiral. Alat ini dibuat untuk menjembati teknologi yang canggih dengan teknologi tepat guna yang biasa dilakukan pada industri rumah tangga. Dalam pembuatan alat ini digunakan bahan-bahan yang berkualitas dan ekonomis. Untuk bagian rangka alat dibuat dengan mengunakan besi stainless steel pada bagian pisau dan cassing. Hasil yang didapat pada pembuatan alat pemotong kentang spiral ini mampu memotong dengan rata-rata kapasitas hingga 271,25 gram kentang. Alat pemotong kentang spiral ini terbukti lebih efektif dan efisien dari pada pemotongan secara manual dengan menggunakan pisau. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil dan kapasitas produksi alat pemotong kentang spiral. In order to increase productivity and to follow the progress of emerging technologies principled efficient and effective for cutting spiral potato with better results, in which potatoes are used as raw materials to make snacks. So they make a spiral potato cutter tool. This tool is made for menjembati sophisticated technology with appropriate technologies is usually done in the home industry. This tool is used in the manufacture of materials quality and economical. To order parts using the tool made by stainless steel on the blades and casing. The results obtained in the manufacture of spiral potato cutter is a tool capable of cutting with an average capacity of up to 271.25 grams of potatoes. This spiral potato cutter tool proved to be more effective and efficient than manual cutting with a knife. It can be seen from the results and the production capacity of potato spiral cutting tools.
