Abstrak

ABSTRAK This development research aims to produce a discovery learning model that was oriented towards the ability of reflective thinking and student self-efficacy. Development was carried out in stages, namely preliminary studies, planning, initial product development, initial stage testing, revision of the initial product and field testing. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The subject of the research was the eighth grade students of Bandar Lampung 1 State Junior High School in the academic year 2017/2018. The results showed that the discovery learning model that was oriented towards the ability of reflective thinking and self-efficacy of students was effective to improve the ability of reflective thinking and self-efficacy of students respectively by 77% and 30%. Keywords: discovery learning, reflective thinking, self-efficacy Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model discovery learning yang berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan self-efficacy siswa. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan tahap-tahap yaitu, studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji tahap awal, revisi produk awal dan uji lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning yang berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan self-efficacy siswa efektif untuk meningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan self-efficacy siswa masing-masing sebesar 77% dan 30%.
