Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum berkembangnya membaca permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan pengaruh media big book terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian yang bersifat Pre- eksperimental dengan One Grup dengan desain Pretest-Posttest. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive dengan sampel sebesar 30 anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t-piered test untuk melihat perbedaan kemampuan membaca permulaan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media big book dengan hasil 3,58. Hasil menunjukan adanya pengaruh media big book terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun yaitu 4,46. Hal ini mengartikan bahwa media big book dapat membantu menstimulus kemampuan membaca permulaan anak. Kata Kunci: big book, membaca permulaan abstract The problem in this research was the lack developed language in children aged 5-6 years. In this research aims to determine the influence of big book’s media on the ability to read the beginning in children aged 5-6 years. Method of there search is Pre- eksperimental with One Grup Pretest-Posttest design. Sampling technique of this research is sampling purposive and sample in this research is 30 children. While data analysis using by t-test to see the difference of the ability to read the beginning before and after using big book’s media with the result 3,558. The results showed that there is the influence of the big book’s media on the ability to read the beginning children aged 5-6 years is 4,46. It means that big book media can help stimulate the ability to read the beginning. Keywords : big book’s media, ability to read the beginning
