Abstrak

The effectiveness of Arbuscular Mycorryza Fungi (AMF) depend on the type of AMF, plant and application of phosphate and organic matter. The aim of this research are suitable to determine (1) the best type of AMF in enhancing growth of oil palm seedling, (2) the suitable dosage of phosphate and organic matter for the growth of oil palm seedling, (3) whether the oil palm seedling responses to the application of AMF type is determined by dosage of phosphate and organic material used, (4) the best dosage of phosphate and organic matter for each type of AMF to produce the best oil palm seedling growth. The experiment 1 was factorial experiment (4x3) with five replications. The first factor was types of AMF (M), consisted of 4 levels: without mychorrizal inoculation (m0), Gigaspora sp. Isolate MV16 (m1), Glomus sp. Isolate MV7 (m2), Gigaspora sp. Isolate MV16 + Glomus sp. Isolate MV7 (m3). The second factor was application of phosphate fertilizer, consisted of 3 levels: 1/3 recommended dosage SP36/polibag (p1), 2/3 recommended dosage SP36/polibag (p2), 3/3 recommended dosage SP36/polibag (p3). The experiment 2 was factorial experiment (4x3) with five replications. The first factor was type of mychorrizal, consisted of 4 levels (same with the experiment 1). The second of factor was application organic matter based on volume in Efektivitas FMA (Fungi Mikoriza Arbuskular) selain tergantung dari jenis FMA juga sangat tergantung pada jenis tanaman, pemberian fosfat dan bahan organik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menentukan (1) jenis FMA yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit; (2) dosis fosfat dan bahan organik yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit; (3) apakah respons bibit kelapa sawit terhadap pemberian jenis FMA ditentukan oleh dosis fosfat dan bahan organik yang digunakan ; (4) menentukan dosis fosfat dan bahan organik untuk masing-masing jenis FMA yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit terbaik. Penelitian 1 disusun dalam rancangan faktorial (4x3) dengan 5 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu jenis mikoriza (M) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu Tanpa inokulasi mikoriza (m0), Gigaspora sp. Isolat MV16 (m1), Glomus sp. Isolat MV7 (m2), Gigaspora sp. Isolat MV16 + Glomus sp. Isolat MV7 (m3). Faktor kedua yaitu pemberian pupuk fosfat (P) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 1/3 dosis anjuran SP36/polibag (p1), 2/3 dosis anjuran SP36/polibag (p2), 3/3 dosis anjuran SP36/polibag (p3). Penelitian 2 disusun dalam rancangan faktorial (4x3) dengan 5 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu jenis mikoriza (M) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf (sama dengan penelitian 1).
