Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keadaan sosial dan ekonomi nelayan di Kelurahan Pasar Madang Kecamatan Kotaagung Kabupaten Tanggamus. Fokus kajianya adalah tingkat pendidikan anak, jumlah tanggungan, pendapatan, pekerjaan sampingan, kepemilikan rumah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 146 orang dan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 37 orang menggunakan teknik proposional area random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara terskruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan tabel persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (l) Tingkat pendidikan anak nelayan yang belum sekolah dan tidak tamat SD sebanyak 53 orang (39,84%). (2) Jumlah tanggungan yaitu rata-rata 5 orang, tanggungan besar sebanyak 19 orang (52.35 %) dan tanggungan kecil sebanyak 18 orang (48,65 %). (3) Pendapatan kepala keluarga nelayan rata-rata sebesar Rp. 1.559.00 per bulan, di bawah UMR Tanggamus yaitu sebanyak 26 orang (70,27%). (4) Sebagian besar kepala keluarga nelayan memiliki pekerjaan sampingan yaitu sebanyak 29 orang (78,37%). (5) Status kepemilikan rumah keluarga nelayan yaitu yaitu sebanyak 27 orang (72,975%) berstatus menumpang dengan kondisi fisik rumah yang non permanen. DESCRIPTION OF THE FISHERMEN’S SOCIAL ECONOMY IN KELURAHAN PASAR MADANG KECAMATAN KOTAAGUNG TANGGAMUS DISTRICT OF 2017 This study aims to describe the social and economic conditions of fishermen in Kelurahan Pasar Madang Kecamatan Kotaagung Tanggamus District. The focus of the study is the level of children's education, the number of dependents, income, side jobs, home ownership status. This research using descriptive method. The population of this study as many as 146 people and the number of research samples as many as 37 people using proportional area random sampling technique. Data collection using observation techniques, structured interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data using table percentage. The results showed that (1) Education level of children including the category of school or non-school is 53 people (39,84%). (2) Heads of fishermen families have of dependents 5 people, dependents a large is 19 people (52,35%) and dependents a small is 18 people (48,65 %). (3) Income of fisherman's family head is average Rp. 1.559.000. Income of fisherman's family head is below on UMR Tanggamus that is 26 people (70,27%) and above on UMR Tanggamus is 11 people (29,73%). (4) Head of fisherman's family have side job is 29 people (78,37%). (5) The status of the ownership of the fisherman’s family home is as many 27 people (72,975%) who have the status of riding and the physical conditional of thee non permanen house.
